An oil-in-water emulsified milky skin cosmetic preparation comprising (a) a copolymer of 2-acrylamide 2-methylpropanesulfonic acid or a salt thereof/polyoxyethylene alkyl ether methacrylate, (b) an alkyl modified carboxyvinyl polymer; and (c) an alkylene oxide derivative, and having a viscosity at 25° C. of 10,000 mPa·s or less (Vismetron viscometer). It is preferable that the skin cosmetic preparation comprises 0.005% to 2.0% by mass of (a), 0.005% to 1.5% by mass of (b), and 0.005% to 15.0% by mass of (c). The skin cosmetic preparation may further comprise (d) oil havinga viscosity at 25° C. of 100 mPa·s or less and being a liquid at an ordinary temperature, arbitrarily. Furthermore, it is prefarable that the skin cosmetic preparation comprises 55% to 80% by mass of water.08-13-2009
