20080286202Method of Diagnosing Prodromal Forms of Diseases Associated With Amyloid Deposition - A method of identifying a patient as prodromal to a disease associated with amyloid deposition by imaging techniques is provided. In addition, a method of identifying amyloid deposition diseases in patients who present with a dementing disorder of questionable etiology by imaging techniques is provided. The methods discloses substances which are used for imaging and generating data which can be used to determine progress of an asymptomatic patient to a disease associated with amyloid deposition, or to identify amyloid deposition diseases in patients who present with a dementing disorder of questionable etiology.11-20-2008
20090142269ISOTOYPICALLY-LABELED BENZOTHIAZOLE COMPOUNDS AS IMAGING AGENTS FOR AMYLOIDOGENIC PROTEINS - The present invention provides an isolated linezolid impurity, desfluoro linezolid, the preparation thereof and its use as a reference standard.06-04-2009
20100021388BENZOTHIAZOLE DERIVATIVE COMPOUNDS, COMPOSITIONS AND USES - This invention provides benzothiazole derivative compounds, compositions comprising such compounds, methods of preparing such compounds, and methods of using such compounds for detecting amyloid deposit(s) and for diagnosing a disease, disorder or condition characterized by amyloid deposit(s).01-28-2010

20090112045METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ASBESTOS TREATMENT - A vibratory system for asbestos treatment includes a trough with a heat-resistant liner, an opening, and a discharge end. The system also includes a transportation sub-system including a frame that may be coupled to the trough, as well as a vibration generator and resilient members coupled to the frame. Further, the system includes a heating sub-system including a furnace that may be disposed across the opening. A method for asbestos treatment includes disposing the asbestos in the trough, disposing the furnace across the opening, heating the asbestos in the trough to render the asbestos inert, vibrating the trough to move the inert asbestos along the trough to the discharge end, and collecting the inert asbestos from the trough.04-30-2009
20090272629CONVEYOR FOR AND METHOD OF CONVEYING HEATED MATERIAL - A conveyor for conveying hot ash may include a frame, a trough supported on the frame to receive a quantity of hot ash, the trough including a trough wall with a plurality of semi-circular steel plates that define a surface of the trough wall and a plenum disposed beneath the semi-circular steel plates, and a vibratory generator operatively coupled to the trough. The conveyor may also include a first plurality of apertures in the trough wall in fluid communication with the plenum, and a plurality of baffles spaced above the first plurality of apertures in the trough wall, the baffles defining a second plurality of apertures through which air exiting the first plurality of apertures may pass in a direction along the surface of the trough wall.11-05-2009
20100135103VIBRATORY APPARATUS WITH ANTI-STICK DECK SECTION - A vibratory apparatus includes a trough having side walls, and a deck section having a deck plate defining at least in part a deck and side walls, the side walls of the deck section resiliently coupled to the side walls of the trough. The apparatus also includes a primary vibratory generator coupled to the trough, the primary vibratory generator operating a first frequency and a first amplitude, and a secondary vibratory generator coupled to the deck section, the secondary vibratory generator operating at a second frequency and a second amplitude, the second frequency being higher than the first frequency and the second amplitude being smaller than the first amplitude.06-03-2010

20090126219Method and System for Drying High-Moisture Content Plant Material - A system includes a container having a curved inner surface disposed about a generally horizontally extending longitudinal axis, the container having an input end and an axially-spaced output end opposite the input end, the container being mounted on a plurality of resilient members so as to be resiliently supported above a base. The curved inner surface is defined by at least one deck plate having a plurality of apertures to direct air tangential to the curved inner surface. The system also includes a vibration generator coupled to the container for producing a vibratory force to cause material within the container to be moved in a generally rising and falling path of rolling movement along the curved inner surface, and a fan coupled to a heater and to the plurality of apertures to pass heated air through the plurality of apertures. A method of drying material is also provided.05-21-2009
20090289004VIBRATORY APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING LIQUID FROM LIQUID-LADEN SOLID MATERIAL - A vibratory apparatus for separating a liquid from a liquid-laden solid material includes a trough having a base, a deck attached to the trough, and a vibratory drive attached to the trough. The deck includes a plurality of support members extending longitudinally along the trough, each support member having a solid wall surface with an upwardly oriented apex defining a support point and two edges disposed on opposite sides of the upwardly oriented apex, the apexes being spaced from one another by a distance sufficient to support the solid material above the base, the edges of adjacent support members being spaced to define a passage therebetween, and the apexes being located at an elevation sufficiently above the base to allow liquid to drain from the solid material and flow through the passage to the base.11-26-2009
