20090220904TOUCHLESS FILL LARGE FLAME TORCH - An apparatus having a fuel container, a flame bowl, and a wick holder disposed proximate the flame bowl is disclosed. An open fuel filling port disposed in the flame bowl prevents entry of ignition sources into the fuel container but allows for the flow of liquid thereinto, whereby a user of the torch may refuel the torch without need to touch the torch.09-03-2009
20100104995NO TOUCH POUR TORCH TOP - An apparatus having a shrouded funnel for fueling. A flow barrier is provided in the funnel that controls vapor release from a fuel canister and allows for refueling of liquid fuel without touching the apparatus.04-29-2010
20100112503LARGE FLAME TORCH WITH TEXTURED FLAME BOWL - An apparatus with a fuel container and a flame bowl atop the fuel container is disclosed. The flame bowl has a wick proximate the center thereof. The wick extends into a fuel supply within the fuel container. The flame bowl has an interior surface that is texturized to enhance the appearance of the flame.05-06-2010
20110097676TWIN WICK TORCH - An apparatus having a flame bowl, a shroud surrounding the flame bowl, and a fitting connected to an underside of the flame bowl is disclosed. At least two wick holders are disposed in the flame bowl. The shroud connects to the flame bowl along a top thereof and is spaced apart from the flame bowl along a bottom thereof.04-28-2011
20110139894INSECT REPELLANT TORCH - An insect repellant torch is disclosed. The torch has at least one repellant pad having an insect repellant contained therein that is dispersed by heat. At least one metallic plate is in contact with the repellant pad. The metallic plate is heated by a heat source and by contact with the repellant pad heats the insect replant thereby dispersing the insect repellant into the air.06-16-2011
20130101946Fuel Management of a Melting Fuel - A fuel management system provides a burning system to melt solid fuel and supply the fuel to a wick for producing a larger flame.04-25-2013

20090120736AUTOMATIC BRAKING FOR A MANUALLY CONTROLLED WHEELED CART - The present invention is a manually controlled and propelled wheeled vehicle whose wheels are locked or held in place via a braking mechanism. This invention includes a proximity sensing mechanism that determines when an operator is sufficiently in control of the wheeled vehicle. Upon an operator presence being determined, the proximity sensor calls for the release of the wheel locks and or braking mechanisms. Once the operator is no longer in the proper position, the wheel locks or brakes re-engage.05-14-2009
20090162804ELECTRONIC CONTROL OF A WICK CONTAINING FLAMING ENTITY - The present invention is an apparatus that allows a torch, lantern, or candle user to ignite an actual flame electronically with the turn of a switch. Furthermore, this invention provides the means for the user to remove the flame without the need to blow it out or manually snuff the flame.06-25-2009
20110316355Shockproof Electric Outlets - An apparatus in an example comprises a proximity sensor and a controller. The proximity sensor serves to indicate a presence of a living object within a preselected distance of an electrically powered outlet receptacle. The controller performs a preselected control action in connection with an operation of the electrically powered outlet receptacle upon a determination the living object is within the preselected distance of the electrically powered outlet receptacle.12-29-2011

20080265066Removable Nozzle for Use With Air Cannons and Aerators and Method for Replacing Same - A nozzle for introducing pressurized fluids into an industrial vessel is releasably attachable to and detachable from a mounting member securedly attached to an exterior surface of the vessel. The mounting member is attached, via extension piping, to a source of pressurized gas, such as the exhaust valve of an air cannon. Both the nozzle and the mounting member include respective mating collars which engage each other in a twist lock manner. Additional securing members are provided to securely retain the nozzle and mounting member in twist lock engagement. Removal of the nozzle is performed by releasing the securing members, twisting the nozzle from inside of the vessel to unlock it from the mounting member, and uncoupling the nozzle from the mounting member. Installation of a replacement nozzle is performed by performing the foregoing steps in the reverse order. For high temperature applications, the removal of existing refractory material may be necessary prior to removal of a worn nozzle, and new refractory material may be applied to the interior surface of the vessel following attachment of the replacement nozzle.10-30-2008
20090001097AIR CANNON FOR REMOVAL OF FLOWABLE MATERIAL FROM A MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEM - An air cannon or aerator has a first source of a pressurized gas, such as a tank, a discharge tube assembly, a valve assembly configured to regulate the flow of pressurized gas from the tank to the discharge tube assembly, and a receiving member or basket having a first end configured to receive and seat the valve assembly and a second end configured to releasably and securely mate with the discharge tube assembly. The discharge tube assembly, valve assembly, and basket are all concentrically aligned along a central, longitudinal axis extending substantially coaxial with the longitudinal center line of the tank. The positioning of the discharge tube assembly and valve assembly close to a longitudinal center line of the tank, thereby providing for a central location for the energy discharge, and the provision of large ports in the basket facilitating substantially unobstructed fluid communication between the tank and discharge tube assembly, together facilitate smooth discharge of the pressurized gas as well as increased efficiency and force output of the air cannon.01-01-2009
20110000936Air Cannon for Removal of Flowable Material from a Material Handling System - An air cannon or aerator comprises a tank, a valve, and a tube. The tank has opposite first and second openings and an interior chamber. The valve is rigidly attached to the first opening. The tube connects the valve to the second opening of the tank through the interior chamber of the tank. The tube is pivotally connected to each of the first and second openings and comprises a fluid passageway. The valve is configured and adapted to selectively allow gas to pass from the interior chamber of the tank into the fluid passageway of the tube and out of the tank through the second opening and to selectively prevent gas from passing from the interior of the tank into the fluid passageway of the tube.01-06-2011
