20090084278Process for making metalized micro-embossed films - The present invention provides a process for manufacturing a metalized micro-embossed plastic film using a shim made from a flexographic plate. A digital image is transferred to the flexographic plate and the flexographic plate is processed to create a shim having a raised image corresponding to the digital image. A film is embossed by extruding the film across the flexographic plate, creating a micro-embossed surface in the film. The micro-embossed surface of the film can further be metalized to enhance the visual effects of the image when viewed from the non-embossed surface of the film.04-02-2009
20090146336Process for making shrink films with embossed optical or holographic devices - The present invention provides a process for manufacturing an embossed shrink film having one or more embossed devices such as optical devices, optical lenses, holographic images, holographic textures, static images, textured patterns, and graphical text. An embossing tool is provided having a raised image corresponding to the embossed device and a film is embossed by extruding the film across the embossing tool to form the embossed devices in the film. The embossed film is tentered, proportionally stretching the embossed devices along with the film. The tentered film is stored for subsequent forming into a sleeve of film that can be placed about a product and shrunk by heating to form a contoured shrink film on the product, the film retaining the embossed devices in proportion to the shrinkage of the film.06-11-2009

20100001867DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING TANK CONTENT LEVELS - The present invention is directed to a system for determining content level in a fluid holding tank and requesting refills. One embodiment of the system comprises a magnet that produces a magnetic flux around a housing for an existing content level gauge, a Hall Effect sensor transmitter unit disposed on the housing and having at least one current detecting loop therein for detecting any variation in a magnetic field created by the magnet, and a metal content level gauge disposed within the housing. The degree of variation corresponds to a measured content level as indicated by a position of the metal content level gauge. The system further comprises a base station receiver transmitter unit for receiving a signal from the Hall Effect sensor transmitter unit and forwarding that signal to a remote registry.01-07-2010

20110245212Methods of alleviating the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome/late luteal phase dysphoric disorder - The present invention is a method of a non-continuous administration of a pharmaceutical to a female for a condition associated with the female's menstrual cycle, compromising in the administration of either 7α-Acetylthio-3-oxo-17α-pregn-4-ene-21,17-carbolactone, (+)-(S)-2-(6-methoxynaphthalen-2-yl) propanoic acid or RS)-2-(4-(2-methylpropyl) phenyl) propanoic acid. The active ingredients to be manufactured into a tablet or chewable formulation rich in cocoa flavonols such as dark chocolate no more than 65%. A method of inhibiting one or more symptom of premenstrual syndrome/late luteal phase dysphoric disorder compromising of administering to a female in need of treatment an effective amount of a compound. The first dose to be given at the onset of the premenstrual symptoms. This can be given two to four times a day up to seven days as directed. This is intended to be a short course of therapy to alleviate the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome/late luteal phase dysphoric disorder.10-06-2011

20090216640NON-CASH TRANSACTION INCENTIVE AND COMMISSION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM - An electronic fund transfer system is disclosed wherein commissions for point-of-sale purchase transactions are determined and distributed to members of an organizational network for promoting use of a non-cash payment device that is tangible for effecting purchase transactions. Purchase data is electronically transmitted from the point-of-sale to an automated clearing house for effecting fund transfers to prepare the purchase, and also to a commission management system. The commission management system maintains an electronic database reflecting the structure of the organizational network, and further determines the distribution of purchase commissions according to a predetermined schedule of proportions relating to the position and business volume of each member of the network. The commission management system further comprises a payment processor for effecting commission payments to the members or to a designated sponsor on a scheduled basis.08-27-2009
