A half-mirror is provided between the X-ray source and subject and is configured to pass X-rays and reflect visible light. A TV camera captures the optical image of the surface of the subject reflected by the half-mirror. A display unit displays the optical image captured by the TV camera together with a reference mark indicating the reference position of this optical image, and displays, in superimposed form, an X-ray image obtained by capturing a prescribed reference object as a subject by using an X-ray imaging unit. An adjusting unit adjusts position and attitude of an X-ray detector in such a manner that the reference object displayed by the display unit will coincide with the reference mark. | 05-28-2009 |
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, DISPLAY METHOD THEREFOR, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM - An information processing apparatus sets, on an image to be printed, the print position of attribute information of the image. The information processing apparatus displays, on a display device, the print preview screen of the image to be printed in which an image forming the attribute information is arranged at the set print position. When a region corresponding to the attribute information on the print preview screen displayed on the display device is selected, the information processing apparatus enlarges and displays the attribute information. | 04-01-2010
PHOTOGRAPHIC INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PHOTOGRAPHIC INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD - A photographic information processing apparatus corrects photographic information based on temporarily determined photographic information relating to a photographing operation. The photographic information processing apparatus includes a photographic information correction determination unit determines whether correction of the photographic information is required based on an operation by an operator, an image data acquisition unit detects an X-ray having penetrated a body of a patient and acquires image data based on the detected X-ray, a photographic information correction unit corrects the temporarily determined photographic information based on patient information of the patient in a case where the correction of the photographic information is determined to be required, and an image data output unit outputs the image data after the correction of the temporarily determined photographic information is completed. The acquired image data is prevented from being output unless the temporarily determined photographic information is corrected. | 10-28-2010
RADIOGRAPHIC IMAGING CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD - A radiographic imaging apparatus that is connectable to a plurality of radiation sensors includes an information acquisition unit configured to acquire information about a radiographing site and a radiographing posture of a subject based on an instruction from an operator, a sensor drive status management unit configured to manage drive statuses of the plurality of radiation sensors, and a sensor selection unit configured to select a radiation sensor to be used in performing radiographing from the plurality of radiation sensors based on the acquired information and drive statuses of the plurality of radiation sensors. | 03-03-2011

Cell Death-Inducing Agents - To identify antigens of the 2D7 antibody, the present inventors cloned the 2D7 antigen. As a result, the 2D7 antibody was found to recognize HLA class IA. In addition, the present inventors examined whether the 2D7 antibody has cell death-inducing activity. Nuclei fragmentation was observed when the 2D7 antibody was cross-linked with another antibody, indicating that cell-death was induced. Further, diabodies of the 2D7 antibody were found to have very strong cell death-inducing activities, even without the addition of another antibody. These results indicate that minibodies of an HLA-recognizing antibody can be used as cell death-inducing agents. | 11-06-2008
Novel Pharmaceuticals That Use Anti-HLA Antibodies - The present inventors tested the effects of interferons on the expression of HLA-A in cells and cell injury caused by anti-HLA class I antibodies, by using a 2D7-DB antibody as an anti-HLA class I antibody and the IM-9 cell line as the cells to be tested. As a result, the expression of HLA-A was demonstrated to be upregulated by IFNα or IFNγ, Furthermore, WST-8 assays were performed to examine the cell viability when an interferon and an anti-HLA class I antibody were used in combination. As a result, cell death activity was found to be increased by the combination of 2D7-DB and IFNα or IFNγ. | 01-22-2009

Remedy For Chemotherapy-Resistant Cancer Containing HLA Class I-Recognizing Antibody as the Active Ingredient and Use of the Same - The present invention describes therapeutic agents for chemotherapeutic agent-resistant cancers that include an HLA class I-recognizing antibody as an active ingredient. A further objective of the present invention is to provide methods for treating chemotherapeutic agent-resistant cancers that include the step of administering an HLA class I-recognizing antibody to a subject. It is herein demonstrated that cytotoxic activity due to C3B3 diabody is induced at a lower concentration in chemotherapeutic agent-resistant hematological tumor cell lines having high MDR1 and HLA class IA protein expression, than in their parent cell lines. It was also found that when the chemotherapeutic agent-resistant hematological tumor cell line is pretreated with a C3B3 diabody, cell injury associated with sole use of chemotherapeutic agent is enhanced and the amount of pharmaceutical agents taken up into cells are increased. More specifically, it was discovered that the C3B3 diabody exhibits anti-tumor activity on MDR1-expressing tumor cells having high HLA class I expression, and thereby is effective in overcoming drug resistance. | 04-15-2010
