20080278628 | CONTENT DISPLAY DEVICE, CONTENT DISPLAY METHOD, CONTENT DISPLAY SYSTEM, CONTENT DISPLAY PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM - In a television, a single screen is split into a plurality of split-screens, and content displayed is different for each of the split-screens. In the television, the content selecting section selects content assigned in advance with each of the split-screens. A display section displays the content thus selected, on a corresponding one of the split-screens in a display. For example, a first split-screen displays a television program while a second split-screen displays a web page containing information on the television program. When a screen mode (pattern of split-screen) is changed, content corresponding to the screen modes is selected again and displayed. By the foregoing way, the content is displayed in a state suitable for respective split-screens. | 11-13-2008 |
20080292268 | Content reproducing apparatus, content reproducing method, content reproducing system, content providing apparatus, content data structure, content reproducing program, and storage medium - The content reproducing apparatus comprises a control section which includes: a content reproduction section for reproducing a content; and a content management section for acquiring an acquisition target content in accordance with acquisition instruction information included in the content reproduced by the content reproduction section, wherein the content which is highly likely to be subsequently reproduced is acquired in accordance with the acquisition instruction information and is stored into a storage section. Thus, it is possible to realize a content reproducing apparatus which allows a content, whish is highly likely to be subsequently reproduced, to be efficiently stored therein in advance. | 11-27-2008 |

This makes it possible to realize an image data providing apparatus, which causes an image display apparatus to display an image in a predetermined display size. | 01-01-2009 |
20100328347 | IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, IMAGE DATA TRANSMITTING DEVICE, IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM, IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM STORING AN IMAGE DISPLAY PROGRAM, IMAGE DATA TRANSMISSION PROGRAM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING THE IMAGE DATA TRANSMISSION PROGRAM - Upon receipt of operation entry for processing and editing a currently displayed slide, an operation information generating section generates operation information corresponding to this entry. An operation information reflecting section performs editing on the basis of the operation information and stores the operation information regarding the editing in a storage section. Upon receipt of slide data from the server device, the operation information reflecting section reads operation information of the past regarding this slide data, and generates a display screen in such a manner that editing corresponding to the read operation information is reflected in the received slide data. This makes it possible to display slide data stored in the server device on an image display device in a manner that a user wants, without increasing load on the server device. | 12-30-2010 |

20090263384 | Agents for Suppressing the Induction of Cytotoxic T Cells - The effect of anti-IL-6 receptor antibodies in suppressing cytotoxic T cell induction was examined. The results showed that CTL activity against alloantigens was statistically significantly reduced in mice treated with anti-IL-6 receptor antibodies as compared to mice not treated with antibodies and mice treated with a control antibody. The anti-IL-6 receptor antibody was also administered to recipients of a mouse model for allogenic heart transplantation. As a result, histopathological findings showed that inflammatory cell infiltration into transplanted hearts was suppressed and the survival period of transplanted hearts was significantly prolonged. Thus, the present inventors for the first time discovered that administration of anti-IL-6 receptor antibodies could suppress cytotoxic T cell induction and thereby suppress acute rejection after transplantation. | 10-22-2009 |
20100061986 | Chronic Rejection Inhibitor - The present inventors assessed the effect of anti-IL-6 receptor antibodies in suppressing chronic rejection reaction. They assessed the effect of anti-mouse IL-6 receptor antibody (MR16-1) administration in suppressing the chronic rejection reaction using a mouse model for post-heart-transplantation chronic rejection. The result of histopathological analysis of transplanted hearts extirpated 60 days after transplantation revealed that fibrosis of myocardium and vascular stenotic lesions, which are pathological conditions characteristic of the chronic rejection reaction, were significantly suppressed in the MR16-1-treated group as compared to the control group. Thus, MR16-1 administration was demonstrated to have the effect of suppressing chronic rejection reaction. Specifically, the present inventors discovered for the first time that the rejection reaction in the chronic phase after organ transplantation was suppressed by administering an anti-IL-6 receptor antibody. | 03-11-2010 |
