20110061867METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF HIGH PURITY DISTILLATE FROM PRODUCED WATER FOR GENERATION OF HIGH PRESSURE STEAM - Embodiments presented herein provide an evaporation based zero liquid discharge method for generation of up to 100% quality high pressure steam from produced water in the heavy oil production industry. De-oiled water is processed in an evaporation system producing a distillate that allows steam to be generated with either drum-type boilers operating at higher pressures or once-through steam generators (OTSGs) operating at higher vaporization rates. Evaporator blowdown is treated in a forced-circulation evaporator to provide a zero liquid discharge system that could recycle>98% of the deoiled water for industrial use. Exemplary embodiments of the invention provide at least one “straight sump” evaporator and at least one hybrid external mist eliminator. Embodiments of the evaporation method operate at a higher overall efficiency than those of the prior art by producing distillate at a higher enthalpy which minimizes the high pressure boiler preheating requirement.03-17-2011

20100262527COMMODITY BROKERING SYSTEM FOR MATCHING BUYERS AND SELLERS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS - A method for establishing a connection between a buyer and a seller of a commodity gathering buyer demographic data and purchase criteria and querying a database containing sellers' data. The query method includes using the buyer's criteria set as a filter, and creating a data set including at least one potential seller having a commodity matching at least some of the buyer's criteria set. The software then transmits to at least one of the sellers in the data set at least some of the buyer's demographic data and criteria set, affording that set of sellers the opportunity to contact the buyer directly and make an offer of the seller's commodity. In some cases, negotiations can be entered into in order to reach an optimal result for the buyer and the seller. If successful, a purchase can be completed between the buyer and at least one of the sellers.10-14-2010

20090141892SECURITY PRINTING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENHANCING SECURITY PRINTING - A security printing method includes generating a security file having a plurality of metadata fields and an information field concatenated together in an initial sequence. A security file identification is generated from the plurality of metadata fields and the information field. The security file identification corresponds to the initial sequence and is a one-way function of the plurality of metadata fields and the information field. The method further includes selecting a custom scrambling technique based on the security file identification, and scrambling the initial sequence using the selected custom scrambling technique, thereby creating a scrambled sequence of the plurality of metadata field and the information field.06-04-2009
20100091687STATUS OF EVENTS - An event management system is configured to provide first status information corresponding to a scheduled event to at least a first person associated with an in progress event where the in progress event includes a first plurality of event endpoints that provide a first set of media streams to a first set of attendees. The event management system is also configured to provide second status information corresponding to the in progress event to at least a second person associated with the scheduled event where the scheduled event is scheduled to include a second plurality of event endpoints that provide a second set of media streams to a second set of attendees.04-15-2010
20100095223RECONFIGURING A COLLABORATION EVENT - An event management system is configured to host a collaboration event that includes first and second event endpoints that provide respective first and second sets of audio/visual (A/V) media streams to respective first and second sets of attendees during the first event. The event management system is configured to, while hosting the collaboration event, reconfigure the collaboration event to cause a third event endpoint to provide a third set of audio/visual (A/V) media streams to at least one of the first set of attendees.04-15-2010
20110069141Communication Between Scheduled And In Progress Event Attendees - An event management system is configured to receive a first communication from a person associated with a scheduled event and provide a second communication associated with the first communication to at least one endpoint of an in progress event.03-24-2011
20110069143Communications Prior To A Scheduled Event - An event management system is configured to provide a communications pathway between persons associated with a scheduled event prior to initiating the scheduled event.03-24-2011
20110093590Event Management System - An event management system is configured to detect an overlap between events and provide a communication to remediate the overlap to one or more event attendees.04-21-2011
20110173263Directing An Attendee Of A Collaboration Event To An Endpoint - An event management system is configured to receive information that indicates a presence of an attendee of a collaboration event at a first location that is not specified by a registered event specification corresponding to the collaboration event and provide information to the attendee to direct the attendee to a second location with an endpoint for connecting to the collaboration event.07-14-2011
