20110168630 | GRAFT COPOLYMERS, METHODS FOR GRAFTING HYDROPHILIC CHAINS ONTO HYDROPHOBIC POLYMERS, AND ARTICLES THEREOF - The present invention relates to synthetic methods for grafting hydrophilic chains onto polymers, particularly hydrophobic polymers such as poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), and chlorinated polypropylene (cPP). Resulting polymers include comb polymers which can have a microphase-separated structure of hydrophilic domains provided by the hydrophilic chains. Articles prepared from these comb polymers, particularly derived from PVDF, include membranes for water filtration in which the hydrophilic domains provide a pathway for water transport. PVC can be plasticized by grafting the PVC with hydrophilic chains. In addition, such articles, particularly articles having biomedical applications, can display anti-thrombogenic properties. | 07-14-2011 |

20100018700 | Laminate Pressure Containing Body for a Well Tool - Apparatus if provided for use in wells, particularly wells that have high-pressure and high-temperature conditions in the well. The shells of completion equipment that is required to withstand the rigorous conditions in such wells are increased in strength by laminate layers that are formed of materials having higher yield strength than the yield strength of materials that can be used in well fluids. | 01-28-2010 |
20140208842 | MONITORING DEVICE FOR PLUG ASSEMBLY - A monitoring tool, including an obstructor portion operatively arranged to impede fluid flow past the monitoring tool when the obstructor is engaged with a corresponding seat member. A disintegrable portion is included formed from a material operatively arranged to disintegrate upon exposure to a selected fluid. A gauge is coupled with the obstructor portion and the disintegrable portion. The gauge is operatively arranged to monitor one or more parameters and released from the obstructor portion when the disintegrable portion is disintegrated by the selected fluid. A method of monitoring one or more parameters is also included. | 07-31-2014 |

20150361763 | DUAL BARRIER INJECTION VALVE - A wireline retrievable injection valve for an oil or gas well has an internal valve that is initially moved to open a flapper safety valve and also opens to allow fluid flow through the valve. The internal valve includes a sleeve that opens the flapper safety valve and shields the flapper safety valve from fluid. In this manner the flapper valve is protected from being caused to “flutter” or “chatter” due to pressure variations in the fluid flow, which may damage the seat. | 12-17-2015 |

20150285024 | Bridge Plug with Selectively Opened Through Passage - A bridge plug with a selectively blocked flow passage is delivered on wireline and pumped down to the desired location and set. A casing pressure test can be performed above the bridge plug while shielding the formation below from excess pressure from the pressure test. To the extent there are producing zones below the bridge plug or adjacent injection wells that could communicate with the borehole, the plug isolates those pressures from below. After the pressure test is completed, a rupture disc is blown in a passage through the bridge plug and flow is then used to deliver completion equipment to a horizontal portion of the borehole and preferably on wireline. | 10-08-2015 |

20120226478 | PROMOTION OF PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS IN DISTRIBUTED DATA PROCESSING ENVIRONMENT - A method of performance monitoring in a data processing environment is provided. The data processing environment includes multiple systems, each of which has resources. Each resource relates to a resource type, wherein at least one performance parameter is defined for each resource type. The method includes determining a value of the at least one performance parameter for at least one resource, aggregating performance parameter values and related resources of a resource type, creating for at least a part of the resources a next predefined aggregation level which includes all resources relating to the resource type and associating all performance parameter values to this aggregation level, and repeating the creating for at least a part of the resources a next predefined aggregation level until a predefined target aggregation level of the data processing environment has been reached. | 09-06-2012 |
