20100072443Mid-span winch with a reel-enclosing support frame - The mid-span winch has a support frame, a reel mounted in this support frame and a handle affixed to the support frame. The mid-span winch has a longitudinal axis extending horizontally from the reel and a vertical axis intersecting the longitudinal axis at a point on the reel. The handle is mounted to the support frame at a location on the support frame which is coincidental with the vertical axis. Wobbling and twisting motions in the winch body are thereby readily perceived with a true amplitude. A corrective action can then be applied to the winch body without using an excessive or a shy force. In another aspect of the present invention, the handle has a hand grip which extends obliquely from the longitudinal axis, whereby both a wobbling motion and a twisting motion on the winch body can be stabilized at once in a same grasp.03-25-2010

20100327134MOUNT WITH SEPARATE DEVICE INTERFACE - The present invention relates to mounting devices, and in particular to a mount for mounting a device or other object on a suitable support structure such as a slatwall. In one embodiment, the mount comprises a support structure interface engageable with a support structure, the support structure interface comprising a base having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, and at least one engagement member extending from the first side for engaging the support structure, and a mounting slot at the second side of the base. The mount further comprises a separate device interface comprising at least one male portion receivable into the mounting slot of the support structure interface and at least one connector portion connectable to a device that is to be mounted.12-30-2010
20100327136ADJUSTABLE MOUNT WITH POSITION LOCK - The present invention relates to adjustable mounts, and in particular to an adjustable mount that can be selectively locked in position by way of a position locking mechanism. The mount assembly generally comprises a base coupleable to a structure, a tilt plate coupleable to the device and pivotally connected to the base, and a position locking mechanism. The position locking mechanism generally comprises a linkage member extending between the base and the tilt plate, and a lock that is selectively adjustable between an unlocked state in which the linkage member is free to move relative the base thereby allowing the tilt plate to pivot about the base, and a locked state in which the linkage member is retained in position by the lock relative the base thereby preventing the tilt plate from pivoting about the base.12-30-2010
20100327137VARIABLE POSITION WORKSTATION - The present invention relates to a framework for supporting pieces of equipment or other objects, and in particular to a variable position workstation for supporting work surfaces and/or electronic equipment such as computers, video displays, keyboards and the like. The workstation structure in one embodiment generally comprises a stand having a pair of spaced apart upright supports, a lateral support extending between the upright supports and having mounting means for mounting equipment from the stand. The mounting means typically allow for the positioning of a work platform or other piece of equipment at one of a plurality of different horizontal and vertical positions on the stand, thereby providing flexibility for the user. In addition, stand can comprise at least two foldable feet for maintaining the workstation in an upright position. The feet may be folded when the workstation is not in use to reduce the overall footprint of the workstation.12-30-2010
20110001406CONSOLE HAVING CABINET AND SUPPORT STRUCTURE - The present invention relates to a framework for supporting pieces of work station equipment, and in particular to a console structure for supporting electronic equipment such as computers, video displays, control panels and the like. The present disclosure provides a console structure generally comprising a cabinet structure and a support structure. The cabinet structure generally defines an interior space for receiving equipment, whereas the support structure is typically disposed at the back side of the cabinet and extends above the cabinet for supporting equipment on the exterior of the cabinet. In at least one embodiment, the console has reduced dimensions to provide enhanced downward sightlines over the console. Furthermore, in at lease one embodiment, the interior dimensions of the cabinet structure are maximized by providing a cabinet frame comprised of one or more compact frame members.01-06-2011
