20080231977Reflective Layer - A reflective layer for attenuating electromagnetic radiation, the layer comprising at least one reflective component, the latter being selected from the group containing the following substances: carbon particles or fibers, in particular carbon black and/or graphite and/or an electrically conductive graphite compound, metal particles and/or fibers, in particular copper, aluminum, steel, titanium and/or iron particles of fiber and metal alloy particles. The reflective layer is characterized in that it attenuates electromagnetic radiation in a 200 Hz to 10 Ghz range by more than 10 Db, that it is watertight and permeable to water vapor, in addition to being resistant to the elements and designed to produce a potential compensation. The invention also relates to a method for assembling the reflective layer.09-25-2008

20100041526EXERCISE SYSTEM USING EXERCISE RESISTANCE CABLES - An exercise chair for an exercise system. The exercise system is of a type that utilizes an exercise resistance cable apparatus of a type that includes an exercise resistance cable having a first end being connectable to an exercise chair, and; a handgrip connected to a second end of the exercise resistance cable. The exercise chair includes: a) a chair frame; b) a first force directing means securely attached to the chair frame at a first selected location at approximately shoulder height level at the left side of the chair frame; c) a second force directing means securely attached to the chair frame at a second selected location at approximately shoulder height level at the right side of the chair frame; d) a third force directing means securely attached to the chair frame at a third selected location at approximately ankle height level at the right side of the chair frame; e) a fourth force directing means securely attached to the chair frame at a fourth selected location at approximately ankle height level at the left side of the chair frame; and, f) means for connecting the first end of a resistance cable to a selected position on the chair frame. The first, second, third and fourth force directing means provide a redirection of force applied by a user at the shoulder and ankle height levels for a selectable exercise using resistance cables.02-18-2010
20100262052BRACING AND ELECTROSTIMULATION FOR ARTHRITIS - A system for treating arthritis includes at least one joint stabilizing assembly for providing relief from arthritis. At least one signal transmission element engagement member is operatively connected to the joint stabilizing assembly for connecting a signal transmission element. At least one signal transmission element is supported by the at least one signal transmission element engagement member. An electrostimulation unit, electrically connected to the signal transmission element produces a signal for improving the overall function of an arthritic joint. The electrostimulation unit used in conjunction with the joint stabilizing assembly provides a synergistic effect, which results in optimized joint treatment versus using either the joint stabilizing assembly or electrostimulation unit alone.10-14-2010
