20090073570LIGHT CONTROL DEVICES AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME - A light control device is disclosed that includes a two film construction, each film having a plurality of light reflecting regions. For example, the light absorbing elements can be a series of grooves or column-like indentations in the films that are filled or coated with a light reflecting material having a lower index of refraction than that of the films. The two films can be adjacently disposed so that their respective light reflecting regions form a plurality of light reflecting elements that extend along the thickness direction of the device.03-19-2009
20090235985CONCENTRATORS FOR SOLAR POWER GENERATING SYSTEMS - The invention is directed to a system for concentrating light for solar thermal and solar photovoltaic generating systems. The system includes a plurality of concentrating regions. Each concentrating region includes an input end having a perimeter or width in a lenticular configuration, an output end having a perimeter or width in a lenticular configuration, and a portion located therebetween defined by a reflective boundary. The invention is also directed to a method of manufacturing a light collection system. The method includes forming a film having multiple recesses. Each recess includes an input end, an output end and a reflective boundary. The output end has a smaller perimeter or a width in a lenticular configuration than a perimeter or a width of the input end in the lenticular configuration.09-24-2009
20100068471THERMAL RESISTOR MATERIAL - An insulating material having structures and a design that maximizes vacuum area relative to material volume and minimizes the area of contact to a region to be insulated in order to provide maximum thermal resistance between the contacted area and an external environment is provided.03-18-2010

20110067268Shoe With Support System - A shoe construction utilizing a fluid containing chamber as a cushion. The shoe includes a stabilizer positioned in the shoe and having a heel portion in overlying relation to the cushion and a forward portion in overlying relation to at least a midfoot portion of the shoe bottom. The forward portion extends across a substantial portion of the inside width of the shoe where it is located to resist deformation of the shoe bottom under load from a user both in lateral bending and longitudinal torsion.03-24-2011

20100180394Outsole Grid Cleaner - An outsole grid cleaner for removing dirt and debris from the sole of shoes includes a base and a plurality of scraper prongs which remove dirt and debris from the shoe's sole. The outsole grid cleaner has one continuous sidewall extending peripherally around the device. A plurality of scraper prongs extend outwardly from the sidewall. The plurality of scraper prongs have a free end. The plurality of scraper prongs are manipulated through a shoe's outsole pattern of projections to forcibly remove debris and dirt from the lowermost surface of the shoe's outsole pattern. The scraper prongs also remove dirt and debris when in contact with the channel on the top surface of the shoe sole's projections. The scraper prongs further remove the dirt and debris when in contact with the top surface of the shoe sole's projections.07-22-2010
20110067267Shoe Construction Having A Rocker Shaped Bottom And Integral Stabilizer - A shoe construction comprising an outsole constructed from a slip resistant material and a wedge shaped cushion member having a rounded and beveled shaped lower surface bonded to the outsole. A midsole body member is bonded to the cushion member having a torsion spring member secured to the midsole body member. The torsion member assists in stabilizing the shoe construction by directing an outer surface of the outsole to a preferred position, while the lower surface is constructed and arranged to provide a curved rocker-like surface whereby the outsole remains in contact with the ground, and requires muscle control, throughout a walking step.03-24-2011
