20130216540 | MODULATION OF THE INNATE IMMUNE SYSTEM THROUGH THE TREM-LIKE TRANSCRIPT 2 PROTEIN - TREM-like transcript 2 (TLT2), is expressed on neutrophils, macrophages, and B lymphocytes. Expression of TLT2 is up-regulated on neutrophils and macrophages in response to inflammatory stimuli in vivo and synergizes with agonists that bind to G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR) to potentiate the neutrophil antibacterial and chemotactic response. Administration of anti-TLT2 mAb enhances the acute inflammatory response in vivo that is associated with increased neutrophil recruitment to sites of inflammation. TLT2 ligation in vivo also potentiates chemokine and growth factor production indicating that TLT2 can exert both neutrophil intrinsic and extrinsic effects. The administration of anti-TLT2 mAb alone promotes neutrophil recruitment to the lung and peritoneum, as well as the rapid production of G-CSF, CXCL1 (KC) and CXCL2 (MIP-2). Additionally, the administration of an agent to the circulatory system of an animal can reduce the availability of a TLT2 endogenous ligand to reduce the extent of a neutrophil or macrophage-induced inflammatory response. | 08-22-2013 |

20110137781 | Intermarket Analysis - A method and a system for performing intermarket analysis. The method can include, from a pool of available markets in which at least one key intermarket has been selected and removed, selecting at least one market as a general intermarket, and removing the market selected as the general intermarket from the pool of available markets. From the pool of available markets from which the general intermarket has been removed, at least one market can be selected as a predictive intermarket and removed from the pool of available markets. Market data for each of the key intermarket, the general intermarket and the predictive intermarket can be processed to train a neural network. After training the neural network, market data for the primary market can be processed with the neural network to predict future market data for the primary market. The predicted future market data can be output. | 06-09-2011 |
20110137821 | Calculating predictive technical indicators - A suite of predictions is defined to model the financial data commonly used to calculate technical indicators one or more periods in the future. Neural networks are trained to make these predictions. The predictions are then integrated with the standard technical indicator calculations to produce predictive technical indicators which are superior because they lead more and lag less. | 06-09-2011 |

20120298330 | AIR PATH RAIN GUARD FOR A COOLING SYSTEM OF A WEATHERPROOF ENCLOSURE FOR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND THE LIKE - A weatherproof enclosure for electrical equipment or the like includes a cooling system with a water intrusion inhibiting device. The water intrusion inhibiting device includes a gutter positioned inside an outlet vent, and a flap between the gutter and a blower of the cooling system. The flap is movable between a closed position covering an opening between the gutter and the blower, and an open position allowing air to flow through the opening. When the blower is activated the pressure and air flow causes the flap to swing outwardly from the opening to an open position. | 11-29-2012 |

20100017986 | PAINT BRUSH WITH DETACHABLE HEAD - A paint brush has a handle and a paint brush head. The paint brush head is detachable from the paint brush handle. The paint brush head may be rotatable to a number of positions relative to the paint brush handle. | 01-28-2010 |
20120066853 | PAINT BRUSH WITH DETACHABLE HEAD - A paint brush has a handle and a paint brush head. The paint brush head is detachable from the paint brush handle. The paint brush head may be rotatable to a number of positions relative to the paint brush handle. | 03-22-2012 |
20120067913 | LID LOCKING DEVICE - A container transport device is disclosed capable of being used to secure a container and transport it. The container transport device can include a handle for carrying. Straps are provided in the container transport device. In one form the handle can be used to discourage movement of the straps. In some forms the straps can be wrapped from top to bottom of a container, while in other forms straps can be wrapped around a side of the container. In some forms the straps can be ratcheted. Feet capable of providing a friction based interaction between a surface of the container and the container transport device are included. | 03-22-2012 |
20120073073 | PAINT PAD DEVICE - A painting device is disclosed in one embodiment having a paint pad and an assembly useful in coupling to and manipulating the paint pad during use. The painting device can include jaws that are moveable relative to each other to couple to the paint pad. A guard member can be provided to protect a periphery of the paint pad. The guard member can be moved relative to the paint pad to selectively expose the periphery of the paint pad. A coupling member capable of being coupled to another device and/or directly used to manipulate the painting device can be moved relative to the paint pad. The coupling member can be rotated to different positions using a selector that permits such rotations. | 03-29-2012 |
20120082509 | INTERFACE DEVICES AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME - A housing is disclosed having ends capable of receiving tool head interfaces and tool handle interfaces. One of the ends can be configured as a specialized interface end and the other end can be configured as a standardized interface end. One example of a standardized interface end is a threaded interface. An example of the specialized interface end is a selectively engaged end having a plurality of detents for variable positioning of the tool head end relative to the tool handle end. | 04-05-2012 |
