20090113478SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTERACTING WITH A PROGRAM GUIDE DISPLAYED ON A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE - A method for controlling the operation of a plurality of consumer electronic devices by displaying a plurality of broadcast channel identifiers each corresponding to a broadcast channel in a display of a controlling device adapted to command at least channel tuning operations of the plurality of consumer electronic devices. Input is accepted into the controlling device that functions to designate one of the plurality of broadcast channel identifiers and the controlling device uses the designation of the one of the plurality of broadcast channel identifiers to cause a transmission of a wireless signal from the controlling device to a one of the plurality of consumer electronic devices to thereby cause the one of the plurality of consumer electronic devices to tune to the broadcast channel corresponding to the designated one of the plurality of broadcast channel identifiers. A condition associated with at least one of the controlling device and the designated one of the plurality of broadcast channel identifiers functions to determine the one of the plurality of consumer electronic devices to which the wireless signal is transmitted.04-30-2009

20080206150Nanoparticles for Imaging Atherosclerotic Plaque - Atherosclerosis is an inflammatory disease of the arterial walls and represents a significant health problem in developed nations. Described is a targeted Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) contrast agent for in vivo imaging of early stage atherosclerosis. Early plaque development is characterized by the influx of macrophages, which express a class of surface receptors known collectively as the scavenger receptors (SR). The macrophage scavenger receptor class A (SRA) is highly expressed during early atherosclerosis. The macrophage SRA therefore presents itself as an ideal target for labeling of lesion formation. By coupling a known ligand for the scavenger receptor, dextran sulfate, to a MRI contrast agent, early plaque formation can be detected in vivo. Targeted MR contrast agents offer a unique opportunity to visualize early plaque development in vivo with high sensitivity and resolution, allowing or early diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis.08-28-2008

20090040837System and method for reducing pin-count of memory devices, and memory device testers for same - Methods, memory devices and systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a non-volatile memory device receives command signals through the same input/output terminals that receive address signals and write data signals and transmit read data signals. The input/output terminals are connected to a multiplexer, which is responsive to a received mode control signal to couple the input/output terminals to either a command bus or an input/output bus. A latch in the memory device latches the command signals when the mode control signal causes the input/output terminals to be coupled to the input/output bus. As a result, the command signals continue to be applied to the command bus. When the mode control signal causes the input/output terminals to be coupled to the input/output bus, write data signals are clocked into the memory device and read data signals are clocked out of the memory device responsive to a received clock signal.02-12-2009

20100169065SIMULATING LOSS OF LOGIC POWER STATE DUE TO PROCESSOR POWER CONSERVATION STATE - In general, in one aspect, the disclosure describes creation of a randomization list that includes only a subset of the logic states of an integrated circuit (IC). The subset being selectable by signal so as to define logic states that can be randomized for specific events. The randomization list is during simulation to randomize the logic states defined therein to simulate a specific event occurring during operation of the IC. For example, the randomization list may include those signals that can be randomized upon exiting from a powered down state (e.g., deep power down, C6). The signals that can be randomized may be defined by excluding the signals that cannot be randomized (those still receiving power in the C6 mode). The contents of registers of the IC can be confirmed after the randomization and exit from the C6 mode.07-01-2010
