20110267258IMAGE BASED MOTION GESTURE RECOGNITION METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF - An image based motion gesture recognition method and system thereof are disclosed. In embodiment, a hand posture detection is performed according to the received image frames, to obtain a first hand posture. It is then determined whether the first hand posture matches a predefined starting posture or not. If the first hand posture matches said predefined starting posture, movement tracking is performed according to hand locations on image frames, to obtain a motion gesture. During said movement tracking, the hand posture detection is performed according to said image frames to obtain a second hand posture, and it is determined whether the second hand posture matches a predefined ending posture. If the second hand posture matches the predefined ending posture, the movement tracking is stopped. Therefore, reduce complexity motion gesture recognition can be reduced and the reliability in interaction can be improved.11-03-2011
201102683653D HAND POSTURE RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND VISION BASED HAND POSTURE RECOGNITION METHOD THEREOF - A vision based hand posture recognition method and system thereof are disclosed. The method comprises the following steps of receiving an image frame; extracting a contoured hand image from said image frame; calculating a gravity center of said contoured hand image; obtaining contour points on a contour of said contoured hand image; calculating distances between said gravity center and said multiple contour points; recognizing a hand posture according to a first characteristic function of said multiple contour points. In embodiment, the finger number and hand direction of the hand posture can be determined according to the number and location of at least one peak of the first characteristic function.11-03-2011

20090043928INTERFACE DEVICE AND MASTER DEVICE OF A KVM SWITCH SYSTEM AND A RELATED METHOD THEREOF - The present invention centralizes the processing the combined horizontal and vertical sync signals in a master device and thereby keeps the interface devices as simple as possible so as to reduce the cost of the interface devices. The interface device mainly only converts the separate horizontal sync signal and vertical sync signal, or the combined horizontal and vertical sync signal to a default polarity. On the other hand, the separation of the combined horizontal and vertical sync signal into individual horizontal and vertical sync signals are all carried out by the master device.02-12-2009
20090106477ASYNCHRONOUS/SYNCHRONOUS KVMP SWITCH FOR CONSOLE DEVICES AND PERIPHERAL DEVICES - A signal switch for sharing a video monitor, a plurality of console devices compliant with an industry standard and one or more than one peripheral device in any of a plurality of computer systems, is provided comprising a CPU with a first memory for storing a management program for managing the signal switch; a hub switch module connected to the CPU and configured to communicate with any of the plurality of computer systems, and the one or more than one peripheral device; a device control module for emulating according to the industry standard the plurality of console devices, connected to the CPU and the hub switch module; a host control module connected to the CPU and configured to communicate with the plurality of console devices; and a video control module connected to the CPU and configured to communicate with a video monitor device.04-23-2009
20090125654KVM Switch - A KVM switch which allows a far end console and a near end console to share a single bus is provided. The KVM switch includes a host port, a far end port, a near end port, a video processing module, a far end video processing module, a video switching module, an operation processing module, a far end operation signal module. In order to share the single bus, an additional far end video processing module transmits display signals from the host port to the far end console via the far end port, or displays display signals on a monitor via the video processing module. At the same time, an additional far end operation signal module receives an operation signal from the far end console via the far end port, or transmits the operation signal from an operation device to the host computer via the operation processing module.05-14-2009
