20150118730 | ENZYME-BASED PROTEIN SEPARATION AND ENRICHMENT FROM SOY MEAL, WHEAT MEAL, AND OTHER PROTEIN-RICH MATERIALS DERIVED FROM PLANT SEEDS, FRUITS AND OTHER BIOMASS - The present invention is directed to enzyme based methods for separating protein from protein-rich materials derived from plant seeds, fruit, or other biomass and products made therefrom. The protein content in the resulting products is improved by separating and removing the carbohydrates from around the proteins in, for example, soybean meal. This removal is facilitated by the enzymatic hydrolysis of poly- and oligomeric carbohydrates into monosaccharides and other water soluble sugars. The present invention provides for the production of three streams of useful materials. The first is an enriched protein material comparable to the known SPCs but without significant quantities of undigestible oligosaccharides and polysaccharides. The second is an SPI made from the soluble protein in the hydrolysate which is valuable for high-quality feed, food and industrial uses. The third is the soluble saccharides and hydrolyzed carbohydrates (releasing sugars) that can be converted by fermentation to various valuable bioproducts. | 04-30-2015 |

20120240233 | Method and system for detecting malicious web content - A method for determining whether web content intended for transmission from a second device to a first device via a routing device comprises malware is proposed. The method, to be carried out by the routing device, includes receiving at least a part of the web content from the second device, providing to an antivirus service a representation of N bits of the received part of the web content, and receiving, from the antivirus service, test information based on the representation of the N bits provided by the router and indicating whether the web content may comprise malware. An appropriate representation of the N bits of web content serves as a “fingerprint,” sufficiently identifying the entire piece of the web content for the purpose of determining whether or not this piece of web content may contain malware. | 09-20-2012 |

20100138543 | Real-time content detection in ISP transmissions - A method and system for detecting the transmission of preidentified content, such as copyrighted material, over an Internet Service Provider (ISP) network. A set of rules is provided to identify one or more traffic flow profiles of data streams transmitting preidentified content. Preferably the rules are adaptively created through analysis of actual ISP data in conjunction with data suggesting an initial set of profile characteristics. The rules are applied to data streams being transmitted in the ISP network, so that data streams fitting one or more of the profiles are identified. A database contains, e.g., as digital signatures or fingerprints, one or more items of content whose transmission is sought to be detected. Data streams identified as matching a profile are analyzed to determine if their content matches an item of content in the database, and if so, an action is taken which may include interrupting the transmission, suspending an ISP account, or reporting the transmission. An ISP with a system performing this method may offer services to content providers, and a plurality of ISPs may jointly use a single database of preidentified content to be compared to each ISP's identified data streams. | 06-03-2010 |

20140108240 | PAYMENT PREFERENCE USER INTERFACE - A display shows who a user owes money to on one side of the display and who the user is owed money by on the other side of the display. The parties are shown with a visual representation (e.g., a photo or text), a name, and an amount. The more someone owes or is owed, the farther they are shown extending from the center-line (or 0 owed/is owed line). The user can select a person/entity that the user owes money to by tapping and dragging the visual image and then moving that selection to the same row as a person/entity that owes money to the user. This allows the user to pass some of the money owed to the user to pay the person/entity that the user owes money to. Once confirmed, the tree is updated. The payment provider may facilitate the money exchange between the two selected parties and the user. | 04-17-2014 |
