20080241868Method for increasing light emission from a chemiluminescent reaction - Method for increasing the emission of light from a chemiluminescent reaction including luminol, a peroxidase enzyme, an oxidant and a mediator of electrons through the use of a hypernucleophilic acylation catalyst belonging to the class of 4-aminopyridines. It is also described the use in diagnostic assays of chemiluminescent substrates containing said catalysts.10-02-2008

20110092676KIT AND METHOD FOR THE LABELLING OF BIOMOLECULES - The present invention relates to a kit for the labelling of biomolecules bearing reactive amino or hydroxyl groups. The kit consists of a Reagent A and a Reagent B, individually packaged, comprising: a mixture of a carboxylated labelling compound and a tertiary amine (Reagent A); and a coupling reagent (Reagent B). Upon contacting Reagent A with Reagent B, the carboxylated labelling compound is activated in-situ by the coupling reagent (a guanidinium, or uranium salt) in the presence of the tertiary amine. The active form of the carboxylated labelling compound is reacted with a biomolecules bearing reactive amino or hydroxyl groups, with formation of a stable covalent bond between the carboxylated labelling compound and the biomolecule.04-21-2011

20080274845FRONT DERAILLEUR FOR A BICYCLE - A derailleur including an articulated quadrilateral mechanism, having four parallel articulation axes is provided. At a first articulation axis, between a fixed member and a first connecting rod, the fixed member includes a first forked structure embracing the first connecting rod. The first forked structure includes two opposite flanges having respective holes aligned along the first articulation axis, and the first connecting rod includes a hole aligned with the first articulation axis. A pin is inserted through the two holes of the first forked structure and the first connecting rod. The use of the fixed member creates a more favorable distribution of the stresses induced in the first connecting rod and the pin by the traction of the derailleur control cable.11-06-2008
20090042681SET OF SPROCKETS FOR A BICYCLE REAR WHEEL AND SPROCKET ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SUCH A SET - A set of sprockets has a first sprocket with a greater diameter, at least one second sprocket with a smaller diameter and one or more spacer elements operatively arranged between, and in abutment with the sprockets. At least one of the aforementioned sprockets and spacer elements has engagement portions with a freewheel body of a hub of a bicycle rear wheel, the engagement portions defining an ideal circumference for coupling with the freewheel body. The first sprocket rests against the second sprocket, through at least one of the one or more spacer elements, at at least one first contact point arranged at a first radial distance with respect to a longitudinal rotation axis, and at least one second contact point arranged at a second radial distance from the longitudinal rotation axis. The radial distance between the first contact point and the second contact point is at least equal to ⅓ of the radial extension between the circumference and a radially outer end of the second sprocket.02-12-2009
20090042682SPROCKET MODULE FOR A BICYCLE AND SPROCKET ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SUCH A MODULE - A sprocket module for a bicycle has at least two sprockets fixedly coupled one another. At least one first sprocket of the at least two sprockets comprises engagement portion to a freewheel body of a hub for a bicycle rear wheel. A second sprocket of the module lacks the engagement portion and is supported on the freewheel body through the aforementioned at least one first sprocket. The module allows strong and low-weight sprocket assemblies to be made.02-12-2009
20090258742ARTICULATING PIN FOR BICYCLE CHAINS AND RELATIVE CHAIN - An articulating pin for the links of a bicycle chain, of the type capable to be inserted in aligned holes of an outer link and of the corresponding inner link of the chain, to hinge the links to one another, has a central portion and a distal portion. The distal end is elastically deformable for the insertion through the holes.10-15-2009

20110111658ELASTIC KNIT FABRICS WITH CROSS DIRECTION STRETCH - Disclosed herein are stretchable elastic fabrics prepared by substantially uniformly impregnating a consolidated warp knit fabric with an elastomeric polymer by treatment with an elastomeric polymer solution. The resulting fabrics exhibit considerable elongation in the cross-direction with little or no machine-direction elongation. Such stretchable elastic fabrics are useful in medical and personal hygiene articles as well as in apparel applications.05-12-2011
