20090053779MUTANT MICROORGANISM HAVING IMPROVED PRODUCTION ABILITY OF BRANCHED AMINO ACID AND METHOD FOR PREPARING BRANCHED AMINO ACID USING THE SAME - The present invention relates to mutant microorganisms having improved productivity of branched-chain amino acids, and a method for producing branched-chain amino acids using the mutant microorganisms. More specifically, relates to mutant microorganisms having improved productivity of L-valine, which are produced by attenuating or deleting a gene encoding an enzyme involved in L-isoleucine biosynthesis, a gene encoding an enzyme involved in L-leucine, and a gene encoding an enzyme involved in D-pantothenic acid biosynthesis, and mutating a gene encoding an enzyme involved in L-valine biosynthesis, such that the expression thereof is increased, as well as a method for producing L-valine using the mutant microorganisms. The inventive mutant microorganisms produced by site-specific mutagenesis and metabolic pathway engineering can produce branched-chain amino acids, particularly L-valine, with high efficiency, and thus will be useful as industrial microorganisms for producing L-valine.02-26-2009
20100143911METHOD FOR SCREENING ESSENTIAL METABOLITES IN GROWTH OF MICROORGANISMS - The present invention disclosed is a method for screening metabolites essential for the growth of microorganism using metabolic flux analysis. More specifically, the present invention relates to the method for screening metabolites essential for the growth of microorganism, by selecting a target microorganism, constructing a metabolic network model of the selected microorganism, inactivating the consumption reaction of each of metabolites in the constructed metabolic network model, analyzing the metabolic flux of the metabolites to select metabolites essential for the growth of the microorganism, and confirming the selected metabolites using the utilization of each of the metabolites, defined as flux sum (Φ). According to the present invention, metabolites essential for the growth of microorganism, and genes involved in the essential metabolites, can be screened in a convenient manner, and drug-target genes against pathogenic microorganisms can be predicted by deleting genes associated with the metabolites screened according to the method.06-10-2010
20110003349L-Threonine Overproducing Microorganism and Method for Preparing L-Threonine Using the Same - The present invention relates to a mutant microorganism producing a high concentration of L-threonine in high yield, prepared using site-specific mutation, not random mutation, such as treatment with a mutation inducer, a method for preparing the same, and a method for preparing L-threonine using the mutant microorganism producing L-threonine. By using the mutant microorganism according to the present invention, L-threonine can be prepared at high yield, additional strain development becomes possible and their physiological phenomena can be easily understood since genetic information of L-threonine producing microorganism can be identified.01-06-2011
20110111466Microorganisms for Producing L-Amino Acids and Process for Producing L-Amino Acids Using Them - The present invention relates to a transformed microorganism producing an L-amino acid using sucrose as a main carbon source, and a method for producing an L-amino acid using the same.05-12-2011

20080212220Color filter substrate and method for manufacturing the same - In a color filter substrate and a method for manufacturing the color filter substrate, the color filter substrate includes a base substrate, a first blocking pattern, a second blocking pattern and color filters. The base substrate includes a plurality of pixel areas. The first blocking pattern extends along a direction of the base substrate. The second blocking pattern crosses the first blocking pattern and includes a passage portion through which the base substrate is exposed to connect the pixel areas adjacent to each other along the direction. Color filters are formed in the pixel areas. Accordingly, the uniformity of the color filters and the reliability of the color filter's quality and manufacturing process may be enhanced so that display quality may be enhanced.09-04-2008
20090027431INKJET APPARATUS AND DRIVING METHOD, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF DISPLAY APPARATUS USING THE SAME - In one embodiment, a driving method of an inkjet apparatus, includes applying the same driving pulse to a plurality of piezoelectric elements; measuring a discharge speed and a discharge volume of a discharged object which is discharged through a plurality of nozzles; adjusting the discharge speed which comprises comparing the discharge speed and discharge volume of each nozzle with a predetermined reference permissible range to detect nozzle deviations from the reference permissible range, and adjusting the discharge characteristic of the one or more detected nozzles within the reference discharge permissible range.01-29-2009
20100236002FLEXIBLE WIRE FOR REMOVING SCALE IN PIPE - Provided is an apparatus for removing scale in a pipe. More particularly, provided is a flexible wire which is inserted in a pipe and rotated in a high speed during operation of an apparatus to remove scale produced in the pipe by striking. The flexible wire for removing scale in pipe includes: a main wire line which is formed by alternately winding a central wire line with clockwise and counterclockwise wires along a longitudinal direction of the central wire line; an auxiliary wire line which is a single line having a diameter smaller than that of the main wire line and extends in a longitudinal direction of the main wire line; and an outermost wire which winds the auxiliary wire line so as to bind the auxiliary wire line and the main wire line. Accordingly, a diameter of rotation becomes large due to a centrifugal force at a high speed rotation, so that scale produced in a large-diameter pipe can be effectively removed. In addition, a scale removing ability can be greatly improved.09-23-2010
