20100331620SURGICAL APPARATUS FOR TRANSANAL ENDOSCOPIC MICROSURGERY - Provided is a surgical apparatus for transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM) in which a thin and long endoscope and surgical instruments are inserted through a natural orifice of a human body and the endoscope and surgical instruments are conveyed to the operation area in the body to perform the operation area in the body. According to the surgical apparatus for TEM, a rotation function is added to a barrel of the surgical apparatus for TEM to enable manual rotation of the barrel to a required extent and adjustment of an operation area, without separation of the surgical apparatus for TEM from a fixing frame during an operation. In addition, since the endoscope is disposed outside the barrel, it is possible to reduce the outer diameter of the barrel and uniformly maintain a visual direction of the endoscope even when the barrel is rotated. Further, since the rotation function is added to both the barrel and the surgical instrument insertion hole, more convenient operation is possible.12-30-2010
20100331674FLUORESCENT INDICATION CLIP FOR SURGERY - Provided is a fluorescent indication clip for surgery that has an improved function as a position indicator due to a photo-reactive fluorescent material included in the bio-clip, and allows people to rapidly and easily detect the accurate position of an internal operation region, and thus can improve operation accuracy and reduce side effects caused by excessive incision. The fluorescent indication clip includes a self-spreadable clip body, a fluorescent indicator prepared at the rear end of the clip body and including a photo-reactive fluorescent material, and a clamper configured to slide from a position at which the clamper is mounted on the fluorescent indicator to the clip body by an external force, and fasten the clip body to narrow front ends of the clip body.12-30-2010
20110066163Hemostatic Clip and Hemostatic Clip Operation Apparatus Using the Same - Provided are a hemostatic clip and a hemostatic clip operation apparatus using the same that can rapidly stop bleeding from a bleeding area of a blood vessel when a middle or large diameter blood vessel partially bleeds during an abdominal operation or a surgery using an endoscope. The hemostatic clip operation apparatus includes a handle, a first gripper configured to primarily stop bleeding from a bleeding area of a blood vessel, a second gripper configured to receive the first gripper and symmetrically bend a closed-loop shaped-hemostatic clip to secondarily clip a periphery of the bleeding area stopped by the first gripper, and a gripper driver configured to connect the handle to the first and second grippers to be interlocked with operation of the handle to operate sequential stopping of bleeding and clipping of the first and second grippers.03-17-2011
20110152717APPARATUS FOR INSERTING NEEDLE - Provided is an apparatus for inserting a needle capable of obtaining automation of tissue sample collection or drug injection and operation stability by applying a link mechanism between a needle inserted into a specific part of a human body and a power source for providing a drive force. The apparatus includes a needle unit inserted into a human body, a drive unit configured to provide a drive force to the needle unit such that the needle unit reciprocates between an insertion position at which the needle unit is inserted into the human body and a withdrawal position at which the needle unit is withdraw to the outside of the human body, and a guide unit including a plurality of guide links each having at least two links relatively rotated by the drive force of the drive unit and radially disposed around the needle unit, and configured to guide the needle unit such that the needle unit translates between the insertion position and the withdrawal position in a longitudinal direction of the needle unit.06-23-2011

20100274078Endoscope manipulator for minimally invasive surgery - According to endoscope manipulator for MIS capable of overcoming disadvantages of multiaxial endoscope manipulator including conventional robot arm and providing compact and light-weight structure to obtain maximum activity space for medical staff, multi-joint arm is configured so that movement of all joints from base link to tip link is manually locked-unlocked by user and not controlled by motors. Endoscope mounted on end of multi-joint arm is manipulated using motors to enable movement of three-degrees of freedom, thereby accomplishing compact and light-weight endoscope manipulator. Tube of endoscope can be press-fitted onto tip of multi-joint arm, and three-axis movement function for vertical, lateral and forward/backward conveyance of endoscope is implemented in tip of multi-joint arm. Since external manual joints are not moved during operation, disturbance or restriction to activities of medical staff can be minimized. One-click button function of readily and rapidly attaching/detaching endoscope to/from endoscope manipulator can increase convenience of use.10-28-2010
20100274079Endoscope manipulator for minimally invasive surgery - Endoscope manipulator for MIS can overcome disadvantages of multiaxial endoscope manipulator including conventional robot arm and provide compact and lightweight structure to obtain maximum activity space for medical staff. According to the endoscope manipulator for MIS, multi-joint arm is configured so that movement of all of the joints from base link to tip link is manually locked and unlocked by user and not controlled by motors. Additionally, endoscope mounted on an end of multi-joint arm is manipulated using motors to enable movement of three degrees of freedom, thereby accomplishing compact and lightweight endoscope manipulator. Additionally, tube of endoscope can be press-fitted onto tip part of multi-joint arm, and triaxial movement function for vertical, horizontal and forward/backward conveyance of endoscope is implemented in the tip part of multi-joint arm. Therefore, since external manual joints are not moved during operation, Disturbance or restriction to activities of medical staff can be minimized.10-28-2010
20100274097Surgical instrument - Provided is a surgical instrument which can provide a field of view over a surgical site by sucking blood from a bleeding site during surgery such as tissue dissection and illuminating a dark and deep surgical site. The surgical instrument includes a first body including at least one suction port provided at a front end thereof, a second body configured to cross the first body and to be rotatably coupled to the first body, a suction unit provided in the first body to suck blood from a bleeding site of a patient through the suction port during surgery, and an illuminator provided in the second body to illuminate a space between front ends of the first and second bodies.10-28-2010
