20090232589Dust Boot Assemblies and Apparatus for Providing Grease Relief for a Dust Boot - Dust boot assemblies for providing grease relief while preventing or minimizing infiltration of contaminants into a cavity in the dust boot and between the surfaces of a greased joint coupled to the dust boot. Some such dust boot assemblies include two-piece grease relief inserts having a body and a shield, wherein the body includes grease relief route(s) and the shield prevents or minimizes infiltration of contaminants into the grease relief route(s). Other dust boot assemblies include one-piece grease relief inserts with integral body and shield components. Some grease relief routes include axial and radial channels. Grease relief inserts are inserted under an edge of a dust boot. A dust boot skirt covers grease relief ports through which excess grease is relieved to the external environment. The grease relief insert is located to in a portion of the dust boot experiencing limited or zero movement.09-17-2009

20090047913Alternate mobile network cell synchronization - A host base transceiver station BTS derives a reference timing signal from a physical layer training signal (such as a preamble) received from a neighbor network node/BTS. Downlink transmissions are then synchronized to the derived reference timing signal. This may be used as a holdover timing mode, such as when the host BTS determines that synchronization from a primary source is no longer reliable. In an embodiment, a reference oscillator of the host BTS is phase locked to the derived reference timing signal. Variations include one or multiple such training signals from one or multiple neighbor BTSs, selecting one BTS when the primary synchronization mechanism fails for several BTSs in the same area, and how to phase lock the oscillator without dithering about the target frequency. Apparatus and computer programs are also detailed.02-19-2009
20090149184LOAD BALANCING BY TERMINAL TYING - Example embodiments of methods, computer program products, apparatus, and systems for controlling handover of a terminal device are disclosed. In an example system, a terminal device is configured to select a handover target and initiate handover on its own. In the example system, the terminal device is tied to at least one predetermined cell by performing network-sided control of available handover targets.06-11-2009
20090262793Noise performance by grouping users according to signal strength or modulation and coding scheme (MCS) - Insight and rules are needed for how to handle scheduling in a way meaningful for network operation is explained, such as what transmissions can be delayed for scheduling and which cannot be delayed for scheduling, and how grouped transmissions can be used for interference avoidance. Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a solution to these and other problems. In certain embodiments of the present invention, for example, users are grouped according to criteria which may be indirectly related to interference but are nevertheless different from interference. Thus, for example, certain embodiments of the present invention use expected receive or transmit signal strength or use MCS as grouping criteria.10-22-2009

20100137841Constant Pressure Syringe For Surgical Use - A closed system for harvesting fat through liposuction, concentrating the aspirate so obtained, and then re-injecting the concentrated fat into a patient comprises as its main components a low pressure cannula having between about 7 to 12 side holes of about 1-2 mm by 2.0 to 4.0 mm, a spring loaded syringe holder with a helicoidal spring to apply a substantially constant pressure over the full excursion of the plunger, and a preferably flexible collection bag which is also preferably graduated, cylindrical over most of its body and funnel shaped at its bottom, all of which are connected through flexible tubings to a multi-port valve. The multi-port valve has two flutter/duck bill valves which restrict the fluid flow to a one way direction which effectively allows the syringe to be used to pump fat out of a patient and into a collection bag in a continuous manner. After the bags are centrifuged to concentrate the fat, the excess fluids are separated and the valve is re-connected to permit the syringe pump to reverse fluid flow to graft the concentrated fat back into the patient.06-03-2010
20100160900Multi-function Valve For Surgical Instrument - A closed system for harvesting fat through liposuction, concentrating the aspirate so obtained, and then re-injecting the concentrated fat into a patient comprises as its main components a low pressure cannula having between about 7 to 12 side holes of about 1-2 mm by 2.0 to 4.0 mm, a spring loaded syringe holder with a constant force or coiled ribbon spring to apply a substantially constant pressure over the full excursion of the plunger, and a preferably flexible collection bag which is also preferably graduated, cylindrical over most of its body and funnel shaped at its bottom, all of which are connected through flexible tubings to a multi-port valve.
