20120089271VEHICLE MANAGEMENT - A system for golf course vehicle management can include a tag device having a transceiver and a vehicle management process. The vehicle management process includes an application service for receiving the location of the tag device from the transceiver, at least one geographical zone, and a tracking module for comparing the location to the zone and generating an alert when the location is within the zone. Also included in the process is a control module for recognizing the alert. The control module can initiate an action, such as performance of a vehicle control action by a vehicle controller device.04-12-2012

20100311092METABOLIC FUEL SWITCHING BIOMARKER - Disclosed is a method for measuring and determining whole body insulin release functionality, in which a plurality of physiologically acceptable differentially labeled carbohydrates is administered. A first administered carbohydrate label metabolizes faster than at least one of the other administered carbohydrate labels and recycling rates of at least two of the plurality of labeled carbohydrates are monitored. First and subsequent insulin release phases are detected. The first insulin release phase is detected by comparison of a recycling rate of the first administered carbohydrate with a recycling rate of the subsequent administered carbohydrate.12-09-2010

20090078829SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR SIMULTANEOUS MOMENTUM DUMPING AND ORBIT CONTROL - The present system and methods enable simultaneous momentum dumping and orbit control of a spacecraft, such as a geostationary satellite. Control equations according to the present system and methods generate accurate station-keeping commands quickly and efficiently, reducing the number of maneuvers needed to maintain station and allowing station-keeping maneuvers to be performed with a single burn. Additional benefits include increased efficiency in propellant usage, and extension of the satellite's lifespan. The present system and methods also enable tighter orbit control, reduction in transients and number of station-keeping thrusters aboard the satellite. The present methods also eliminate the need for the thrusters to point through the center of mass of the satellite, which in turn reduces the need for dedicated station-keeping thrusters. The present methods also facilitate completely autonomous orbit control and angular momentum control using.03-26-2009

20090327117Apparatus and Method for Trade Aggregation of Trade Allocations and Settlements - A post-trade aggregation system includes an allocation middleware interface, which interacts with an order management system to allocate and settle trades. The order management system receives a trade order on behalf of a customer and either apportions the trade into a plurality of smaller orders and communicates them to a plurality of order destinations directly (e.g. via the FIX protocol), or sends large orders to an order staging and optimization interface which then apportions the larger orders into a plurality of smaller orders and communicates the orders to a plurality of order destinations. The post-trade aggregation system contains an allocation middleware interface which receives the individual trade executions from the plurality of order destination and compresses them into a single average-priced block. The allocation middleware interface then sends the single average-priced block to be cleared by a designated clearing agent and allocates the single average-priced block into one or more custodian accounts. In further aspects, a method and apparatus are also provided.12-31-2009

20120001706ELECTRONIC OVERLOAD RELAY SWITCH ACTUATION - The disclosed concept provides for an operating mechanism in a overload relay assembly having a solenoid with a permanent magnet. The solenoid includes a ferrous output member. The solenoid moves the output member between a first retracted position and a second extended position. When the output member is in the first retracted position, the permanent magnet maintains the output member in the first retracted position. Thus, in a system wherein the overload relay assembly interrupts power to its own operating mechanism solenoid, the permanent magnet maintains the output member in the first retracted position even when the solenoid is de-energized.01-05-2012
