20100319276TOWER ELEMENT - The invention concerns a tower element for a tower, preferably for a wind power plant, where several tower elements with an outer surface and an inner surface are mounted on top of each other, where the periphery of the tower element is made up of a number of segments provided with inwardly facing flanges at the longitudinal sides, the flanges being connected to corresponding flanges on laterally arranged segments. The individual segments are made with an overlap on the outer surface in the transverse joints and with a butt joint at the inwardly facing flanges. By the invention there is achieved flexibility in production and during transport and mounting. With an overlap on the outer surface between two segments, mechanical joining can be performed between two segments in transverse direction. This mechanical joint between two segments results in a more stable construction and a rigidity substantially corresponding to the rigidity that may be achieved in segments joined by welding.12-23-2010

20090309670Switched Bands Phase Shifter - A multiband phase shifter (MBPS) consists of at least two band phase shifters (BPSs). Each BPS has characteristic operating bandwidth such that the respective central frequency of the operating bandwidth of any such BPS is different than the other central frequencies of the other operating bandwidth associated with other BPS respectively. The MBPS input signal can be switched to any of the BPS while a switch controller controls the switching.12-17-2009

20100261533METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR CREATING AND SCORING GOLF ROUNDS AND SIDE GAMES - A computer readable medium having a computer program stored thereon for operating a computer system to track golf scores and side games. The computer program may comprise a code segment for receiving with the computer system course information and player information for a round of golf; a code segment for receiving with the computer system side game information for side games to be played by players of the round of golf; a code segment for receiving with the computer system scoring information for the players as they play the round of golf; and a code segment for scoring with the computer system the round of golf and calculating results of the side games based at least partially on the player information and the scoring information.10-14-2010

20090262992Method And Apparatus For Mapping A Structure - An area of a patient can be mapped with a system operable to identify a plurality of locations and save a plurality of locations of a mapping instrument. The mapping instrument can include one or more electrodes that can sense a voltage that can be correlated to a three dimensional location of the electrode at the time of the sensing or measurement. Therefore, a map of an area or volume can be determined based upon the sensing of the plurality of points without the use of an imaging device. An implantable medical device can then be navigated relative to the mapping data.10-22-2009

20100185592Snapshot indexing - Managing backup data comprises mounting a snapshot of a file system. Each of the plurality of snapshots is taken at a particular time and each comprises a replica of the data set at that particular time. The mounted snapshot is accessed. For each of the one or more file system objects included in the accessed snapshot, index data is added which indicates that each of the one or more file system objects is located within the accessed snapshot. This information is added to an index associated with the snapshot so that it is able to be determined, using the index and without having to again mount the accessed snapshot, whether an object of interest is included in the snapshot.07-22-2010
