20080281781SEARCHING DOCUMENT SETS WITH DIFFERING METADATA SCHEMATA - Search and filtering of documents with different metadata schemata is enabled using a single index that supports a single schema through decorated namespaces. Each metadata schema submitted to a system is assigned a unique identifier and property names associated with the schema are prefixed with the unique identifier. A single-valued, decorated property is used to indicate whether a submitted document is part of a registered schema in the system. The single-valued properties are converted to a search index table that enables resource-optimized searching and filtering of documents eliminating documents of other schemata by simply checking the association property.11-13-2008

In addition to the general system, methods and computer readable medium for such recommendations, the recommendations can be further refined by incorporating information about the first user, including how the user accesses the online multi-player gaming environment.08-06-2009
20090327094PLATFORM INDEPENDENT ECOSYSTEM FOR CREATION, CONSUMPTION AND TRADE OF USER-GENERATED DIGITAL CONTENT - A platform (e.g. game console) and application (e.g. game title) independent ecosystem for the creation, consumption and trade of user generated digital content permits any application operating on any platform to participate in a market driven economy for user generated digital objects (UGDOs). The trading system is independent of (i.e. external to) all participating applications. A metadata attribution method for UGDOs in combination with heterogeneous application support through well-defined interfaces facilitates unlimited participation. Attributed metadata may be understood and consumed across platforms and applications. Flexible UGDO rights enforcement techniques in combination with a flexible fair exchange service for those rights support all manner of UGDOs and commercial transactions therefore. Participating application may provide rights enforcement in some instances. The nature of enforcement may rest on the nature of UGDO content, rights in UGDOs or author preferences. The trading system assures that all transactions in the UGDO economy are secure, fault tolerant and atomic, providing integrity and confidence in the UGDO economy.12-31-2009
