The controller calculates the chemical concentration of the chemical in the sample based on the measured fluorescence emissions.10-27-2011
20110284090SOLID CHEMICAL PRODUCT DILUTION CONTROL - A solid chemical product is dispensed to prepare a requested amount of a use solution having a requested concentration of the chemical product. In some examples, a target amount of a diluent and a target amount of the chemical product required to prepare the requested use solution are determined. The target amount of the diluent is dispensed into a container. At least some of the diluent in the container is applied to the solid chemical product to create a resultant use solution, which is directed back into the container. The diluent from the container is applied to the chemical product until the amount of the use solution in the container satisfies the requested amount. In some examples, the target amount of the diluent and the target amount of the chemical product are measured by weight.11-24-2011

20080305553Kinetic determination of peracid and/or peroxide concentrations - A use composition monitor determines the concentration of peracid and/or peroxide in a use composition using a kinetic assay procedure. A sample mixture containing a sample of the use composition, a diluent and at least one reagent is prepared and analyzed using, for example, an optical detector. Response data obtained by the detector is indicative of the optical absorbance of the sample mixture as a function of time. A processor analyzes the response data to determine a corresponding best fit linear relationship. The initial absorbance of the sample mixture is indicative of the concentration of peracid in the use composition, while the slope of the best fit equation is indicative of the concentration of peroxide in the use composition.12-11-2008

20100242747Square Baler For Simultaneously Forming Multiple Bales - A square baler includes a crop feed duct defining a pre-compression chamber which is curved upwardly and rearwardly from an open forward end and an inlet located across the bottom of a baling chamber. A pair of vertical partitions extend between top and bottom wails of the pre-compression chamber and divide it into three equal sized channels. Respectively located in fore-and-aft alignment with front edges of the pair of partitions is a pair of stationary knives forming part of a crop cutter arrangement including a pre-cutter rotor carrying two pairs of blades, with one of each pair cooperating with one of the stationary knives to cut incoming crop into three segments which are respectively moved into the three channels by a packer arrangement. Once the crop in the pre-compression chamber attains a preselected density, a staffer arrangement is actuated to lift separate charges of crop from the three channels and force them into the baling chamber where they are compressed into three separate, side-by-side flakes by the baler plunger. When sufficient charges have been compressed to form three bales having a desired thickness in one embodiment, or a desired length in another embodiment, two lengths of twine are tied about each of the three bales.09-30-2010
