20080309384Initialization Circuitry Having Fuse Leakage Current Tolerance - A system for initializing circuitry is presented. The system employs a power-on reset circuit having a threshold voltage and a programmable switch circuit. The power-on reset circuit has a detector circuit for detecting a reference voltage, and a one-sided latch for generating an output voltage reflective of the reference voltage. The detector circuit has a threshold after which the one-sided latch is activated. The programmable switch circuit receives the output voltage of the power-on reset circuit and generates an enable signal arid its complement based on the status of an internal fuse. The switch point of the power-on reset circuit provides for a rapid increase in output voltage, offsetting parasitic leakage current in the programmable switch circuit that can result in improper enable signal output.12-18-2008

20110208560Determining Order Lead Time for a Supply Chain Using a Probability Distribution of Order Lead Time - A system and method is disclosed for estimating demand of a supply chain including accessing a probability distribution of order lead time of the supply chain. The supply chain has nodes including a starting node and an ending node and a path from the starting node to the ending node. The probability distribution of order lead time describes ending node demand of the ending node versus order lead time. The path is divided into order lead time segments which are associated with the probability distribution of order lead time by associating each order lead time segment with an order lead time range of the probability distribution of order lead time. A demand percentage is estimated for each order lead time segment in accordance with the probability distribution of order lead time, such that each demand percentage describes a percentage of a total ending node demand of an order lead time segment.08-25-2011

20100209690CO-CURABLE, CONDUCTIVE SURFACING FILMS FOR LIGHTNING STRIKE AND ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE SHIELDING OF THERMOSET COMPOSITE MATERIALS - Embodiments of the present disclosure present electrically conductive, thermosetting compositions for use in surfacing films and adhesives. The surfacing films possess enhanced electrical conductivity, comparable to metals, without the use of embedded metal screens or foils. Such surfacing films may be incorporated into composite structures (e.g., prepregs, tapes, and fabrics), for example, by co-curing, as an outermost surface layer. In particular, compositions formed using silver flakes as conductive fillers are found to exhibit very high electrical conductivity. For example, compositions including greater than 45 wt. % silver flake exhibit resistivities less than about 55 mΩ/sq. In this manner, the surfacing films as an outermost conductive layer may provide lighting strike protection (LSP) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding when used in applications such as aircraft components.08-19-2010

20090273808RESUBMISSION TO ALTERNATE PRINTERS TO HELP EFFICIENT PRINTING AND SPACE PLANNING - A method starts when a print job is received from a workstation. The print job includes user printing options and an identification of an initial printer. The method ranks the abilities of the available printers to process the print job to identify the best printer for the print job according to, among other items, printer proximity. If the initial printer identification creates a print policy violation, the method presents a question/statement to the workstation (to the user through the workstation) regarding whether the print job should be redirected to the best printer and provides an automated resubmit option at the workstation. If the resubmit option is activated, the method automatically submits the print job to a different available printer, without requiring the user to manually input the printing options.11-05-2009

20110026070PRINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD BASED ON SERVICE COST - A print management system and method for optimizing cost associated with one or more rendering devices (e.g., printers) in a customer environment. A service cost associated with a rendering device can be included in the print management system so that end-users can have the option to perform rendering at a lower service cost rendering device when rendering a complex print document. The service cost and the rendered volume can be recorded by an asset management unit and a helpdesk unit. A real time feedback related to an alternate rendering device can be provided so that the end-user can cancel the current print job and resubmit the print document at the lower cost, comparable, reliable rendering device. Also, automatic job redirection can also be provided by automatically redirecting the rendering job to the lower cost reliable rendering device based on end-user approval or pre-approval.02-03-2011
20110128563AUTOMATIC DEVICE-INDEPENDENT ADAPTATION OF PAGE DESCRIPTION LANGUAGE DATA STREAMS - A system and methodology are described herein that enable a network with a plurality of independent computers, with differing print drivers having generated various otherwise potentially incompatible page description language print jobs, to successfully interface with a centralized printer system through a plurality of lines by virtue of on-the-fly adaptation of the page description language stream job headers before the jobs go to a subsequently designated print device. The header is consumed and parsed to mitigate print-stream header differences by transforming the header commands into page description language commands and imbedding the page description language commands in the original page description language data, and therefrom sending on a resulting pure page description language stream. The resulting pure page description language stream is necessarily a modification of the original page description language data, designed to produce a result compliant with the request as manifest in the originating header.06-02-2011
