20090157960INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND START-UP METHOD OF THE APPARATUS - An information processing apparatus on which a non-volatile storage device is mountable is provided. The information processing apparatus comprises: a volatile storage unit; a mount unit that mounts the device; an acquisition unit configured to acquire information of the device; an estimation unit that estimates a resume time from hibernation using the device; a first control unit that controls to store the data stored in the volatile storage unit to the device if the resume time is shorter than a predetermined time and to control not to store the data stored in the volatile storage unit to the device if the resume time is longer than the predetermined time; and a second control unit that controls to read the data from the non-volatile storage unit to the volatile storage unit if the data is stored in the non-volatile storage unit.06-18-2009
20090303536IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM - After a printing process of multiple copies starts, a process on print data received from a host starts. In a continuous process, a process of performing printing on the basis of generated image data and a process of once accumulating processed image data in an external image forming device, reading the accumulated image data, and printing the image data are dynamically switched therebetween. If the time for reading the image data accumulated in the external image forming device and processing the image data is longer than the time for printing generated image data in the continuous process, the process of performing printing on the basis of the generated image data is selected.12-10-2009
20100321707IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM - Parameters of image processing to be executed on image data to be formed on a sheet are set. When conveying a plurality of sheets on each of which an image is to be formed, the plurality of sheets are conveyed at a first interval or a second interval shorter than the first interval, and an image based on the image data processed based on the set parameters by an image processing unit is formed on each conveyed sheet. Control is performed such that the parameters are set when forming an image by conveying the plurality of sheets at the first interval, and a part of the parameters is set when forming an image by conveying the plurality of sheets at the second interval.12-23-2010
20110238901INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF ENABLING SELECTION OF USER DATA ERASE METHOD, DATA PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM - A mechanism which makes it possible to automatically and appropriately select an erase method of erasing user data in a shorter time such that the user data can by no means be reproduced, according to the type of a connected nonvolatile storage device. An information processing apparatus determines an erase method of erasing an erase area of the nonvolatile storage device according to a management table generated based on attribute information acquired from the nonvolatile storage device. Then, the image forming apparatus erases information stored in the erase area according to the determined erase method.09-29-2011
20110239023INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD OF INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS - An information processing apparatus having a storage unit configured to store data, operated in a normal mode for supplying power to the storage unit or a power saving mode for preventing power supply to the storage unit, includes a determination unit configured to determine whether or not such a condition is established that the information processing apparatus is to be shifted from the normal mode to the power saving mode, and a measurement unit configured to measure an elapse time after a power source of the information processing apparatus is turned on.09-29-2011

20090043481AIR-FUEL RATIO CONTROL DEVICE - An air-fuel ratio control device is provided for controlling the air-fuel ratio of an engine. The device includes an exhaust passage having a main catalytic converter and a bypass passage having a bypass catalytic converter, the bypass passage diverging from the exhaust passage at an upstream junction and rejoining the exhaust passage at a downstream junction. A valve mechanism disposed in the exhaust passage between the upstream junction and the downstream junction moves between a closed state and an open state. During a predetermined period of time after the valve mechanism opens to permit flow in the exhaust passage, the air-fuel ratio of the engine is controlled based on a signal from a first air-fuel ratio sensor in the bypass passage using a low response correction value that is less than a normal response correction value that would be used when the valve mechanism is closed.02-12-2009
20110213521CONTROL SYSTEM OF HYBRID VEHICLE - A control system of a hybrid vehicle, includes: an engine; a motor capable of driving the engine; an oil pump for supplying a lubricant oil to a lubrication requiring portion of the engine; and an engine lubrication controller configured to make the following operations in a case that a stop state of the engine continues for more than or equal to a certain period: when a vehicle stop condition that a driver has no intention of travel is established, supplying, by the oil pump, the lubricant oil to the lubrication requiring portion of the engine, and rotating the engine by the motor without igniting the engine, thereby implementing an engine lubrication control.09-01-2011

20110318960CONTACT FOR COAXIAL CABLE AND END PROCESSING METHOD FOR COAXIAL CABLE - A contact for coaxial cable attached to an end of a coaxial cable includes a contact part and a connection part. The connection part includes a conductor barrel, an open crimp barrel, and a junction band narrow in width. The conductor barrel is disposed on a side to a base end portion of the contact part and can crimp the inner conductor. The open crimp barrel is adjacent to the conductor barrel and can crimp an exposed portion of the dielectric body so as to surround the exposed portion of the dielectric body in a cylindrical shape. The junction band joins the conductor barrel with the open crimp barrel so as to bridge the two. The both end portions of the junction band are torn during or after crimping of the conductor barrel and the open crimp barrel.12-29-2011
