20100161371Governance Enactment - Software systems and methods for governance are presented supporting governance solution specification and enactment including assessing, defining, implementing deployment, and executing of the governance solution. For example, a software system for governance includes a governance solution model component operative to provide at least one definition and at least one semantic of at least one governance entity and a relationship of the at least one governance entity to an operational model of an organization, a governance solution editor operative to specifying a governance solution by forming a governance specification, a governance solution bundle operative to provide packaging of the governance specification into a package that can be deployed and enacted, a governance solution enactment component operative to deploy the governance solution into an organizational context, a process enactment tool operative to provide at least one configuration point, and a governance lifecycle component operative to provide a view into a state of the governance solution.06-24-2010
20110054963PRACTICE SELECTION SCHEMES - A practice selection method is provided. The method comprises recording first information describing one or more characteristics of a first project in at least one storage medium; determining whether a first practice is likely to have a successful impact on the first project based on the first information; and suggesting the first practice, in response to determining that the first practice is likely to have a successful impact on the first project. The first information may comprise subjective and objective information and may also be used to select a second practice for a second project.03-03-2011

20100199731PIN TUMBLER CYLINDER LOCK - The present invention relates to a pin tumbler cylinder lock having a cylinder casing and a plug selectively rotatable in the casing, and a plurality of driver pins and associated tumbler pins rotatable about their longitudinal axes. The cylinder lock includes a plurality of parallel circumferential tracks formed in the cylinder casing. Each of the tumbler pins is adapted and configured to seat in the plug and includes a track engaging element arranged to selectively engage one of said tracks. The tumbler pins are arranged to align both vertically and horizontally with matching depressions in a symmetrical key, in order to permit the turning of the plug in the cylinder casing when the key is turned.08-12-2010

20090014520Radio Frequency Identification System and Data Reading Method - A system and method for reading an RFID data tag comprising a plurality of diffractive elements being indicative of machine-readable data carried by the tag are provided. The diffractive elements have such shape that the dimension of the diffractive elements along one axis is substantially different than the dimension of the elements along the perpendicular axis. Each diffractive element is oriented in a direction other than the direction of its neighboring elements. The system comprises a transmitting antenna configured for emitting an RF radiation signal at a predetermined polarization towards the tag; and a receiving antenna configured for collecting re-radiated RF radiation produced by the tag in response to the RF radiation signal at a polarization orthogonal to the polarization of the transmitting antenna and generating electromagnetic signals indicative of the data carried by the tag. The system also includes an interrogator unit configured for generating the transmitted RF radiation signal and processing the electromagnetic signals produced by the receiving antenna for determining the data carried by the tag.01-15-2009
20090231104Method and Apparatus for Identification of Radio Frequency Tag - A radio frequency identification data tag, a system and a method for reading the tag are described. The tag comprises a plurality of diffractive elements which are indicative of data carried by the tag. The diffractive elements have such shape that the dimension of the diffractive elements along one axis is substantially different than the dimension of the elements along the perpendicular axis. The diffractive elements are arranged in columns and rows in accordance with a predetermined layout scheme. In each column, the diffractive element is oriented in a direction other than the direction of the elements in the neighboring columns. The system for reading the tag comprises an array of transmitting (Tx) antennas for emitting an RF transmitted radiation signal at a predetermined polarization towards the tag, and an array of receiving (Rx) antennas configured for collecting re-radiated RF radiation produced by the tag at a polarization orthogonal to the polarization of the transmitting antenna. The system also includes an interrogator unit configured for generating the RF transmitted signal, and processing the RF received signal for reading the data carried tag. The reading is carried out by using amplitude information of SAR images based on the received signal for determining the arrangement of symbol elements in columns and phase information of the SAR images for determining the arrangement of the symbol elements in rows.09-17-2009
