20110204995ACOUSTICALLY COUPLED RESONATOR FILTER WITH IMPEDANCE TRANSFORMATION RATIO CONTROLLED BY RESONANT FREQUENCY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TWO COUPLED RESONATORS - A signal processing device includes a first acoustic resonator, a second acoustic resonator disposed on the first acoustic resonator, and a coupling layer between the first and the second acoustic resonators. The first acoustic resonator has a first electrical impedance and a first resonance frequency and includes a first set of electrodes, and a first piezoelectric layer having a first thickness, disposed between the first set of electrodes. The second acoustic resonator has a second electrical impedance and a second resonance frequency, and includes a second set of electrodes, and a second piezoelectric layer having a second thickness, wherein the second piezoelectric layer is disposed between the second set of electrodes. The first electrical impedance at a passband frequency of the device substantially differs from the second electrical impedance at the passband frequency of the device. The first and second resonance frequencies are substantially different from each other.08-25-2011

20110169217Method and Device for Transporting Paper Within a Paper Handling Installation from a First Conveyor to a Second Conveyor - In a method and a device for transporting paper within a paper handling installation from a first conveyor to a second conveyor, the second conveyor has a velocity which at least partially follows a drive curve of the first conveyor. A frictional force between the second conveyor and the paper is set to a first value when the first conveyor and the second conveyor are in engagement with the paper. The frictional force between the second conveyor and the paper is set to a second value, which is higher than the first value, when the papers is conveyed by the second conveyor.07-14-2011
20120038256DEVICE FOR MOUNTING AND LOCKING A CASING TO A SUSPENSION - A device for mounting an locking a casing to a suspension includes a first portion arranged to engage a first side of the suspension, a second portion effectively connected to the first portion and a locking element arranged on the second portion at a distance from the first portion, wherein the distance is such that the locking element engages a second side of the suspension at least when the first portion disengages the first side of the suspension, wherein the locking element is biased in the direction of the suspension.02-16-2012

20120072987METHOD FOR EVOLVING DETECTORS TO DETECT MALIGN BEHAVIOR IN AN ARTIFICIAL IMMUNE SYSTEM - A system, apparatus, and method are directed to evolving detectors in an Artificial Immune System for use in detecting unauthorized computing activities. In one embodiment, a population of detectors is generated with a matching value and expectation value of zero. The detectors are then compared to logged fragments of system calls within a computing device to modify the matching value. When the matching value for a given detector is equal to or greater than an expectation value, the detector's expectation value may be set to the matching value. The detectors may then evolve and/or generate other detectors using mutation, and/or recombination, or the like. Detectors continue to generate and/or to evolve until a detector's matching value reaches a determined value, in which case, the detector may be evaluated to determine if an unauthorized activity is detected. If an unauthorized activity is detected, a detection response may be performed.03-22-2012

20100064413EXERCISE CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES - Provided herein are new exercise clothing and accessories. For example, a weight apparatus incorporates an elongate closed tube suitable for wrapping around a user's arm (e.g., wrist), leg (e.g., ankle), neck, or other extremity, and further includes attachment means for securing the weight around the extremity. In another embodiment, exercise clothing include garments that create resistance against the movement of an extremity, such as resistance against regular, everyday motions incurred in selected activities of humans or animals. An exercise garment may include desirable performance features, such as slimming of a body part through compression or tension, which may be selected based, in part, on anatomical fit.03-18-2010
