20120071903LATTICE STITCH AND SURGICAL TENSION LIMITING DEVICE - A lattice stitch and stitching method for closing wounds are characterized by the use of a tension limiting device. First and second anchor stitches are arranged in a tissue layer spaced from and generally parallel to the wound, with the first and second anchor stitches being on opposite sides of the wound. A closing stitch is looped around the fist and second anchor stitches and tied to draw the wound to a closed condition. The tension limiting device is used during stitching of the anchor stitches. The device is arranged between the anchor stitches and the tissue layer adjacent to the wound to prevent over-tightening of the anchor stitches and lend support to the closure. The tension limiting device can be used in any soft tissue surgical application to displace and disperse suture tension at the surface of the underlying soft tissue, to fasten a dressing to the surface of a wound, and to bolster skin graft repairs of wounds.03-22-2012

20110179616Brake Drum/Brake Rotor Removal Tool - A pulling tool includes a elongated main support body having a plurality of retention holes formed on opposite sides thereof. An actuator stem member is threadably mounted in the support body. A pair of jaw members is slidably mounted on opposite side of the support body. The jaw members have extended hook portions adapted to engage an outer periphery of a wheel element removably mounted on a stationary wheel mounting member. A pair of tubular holders is slidably mounted on opposite sides of the support body, and retained against outer faces of the jaw members to prevent lateral outward movement of the jaw members on the support body and to orient the jaw members substantially perpendicularly to the support body.07-28-2011

20090051350DEVICE AND PROCESS FOR DETECTING PARTICLES IN A FLOWING LIQUID - A process and device for detecting electrically conductive particles in a liquid flowing in a pipe section, the liquid being exposed to periodic alternating electromagnetic fields by a transmitter coil which induces eddy currents in the particles, a probe made as a coil arrangement and which has an effective width producing a periodic electrical signal based on the eddy currents. The signal ha a carrier oscillation with an amplitude and/or phase which is modulated by particles passing across the effective width of the coil arrangement, the probe signal being filtered by a frequency-selective first filter unit, the filtered signal being sampled by a triggerable A/D converter stage to obtain a demodulated digital measurement signal, the digital measurement signal being filtered by a digital, frequency-selective adjustable second filter unit to obtain a useful signal, and the useful signal being evaluated to detect passage of electrically conductive particles in the pipe section.02-26-2009
