| 20100138809 | SYSTEM AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR USING UML TOOLS FOR DEFINING WEB SERVICE BOUND COMPONENT APPLICATIONS - An application development system for developing an application with application components is described. The system application development includes a modeling tool. The modeling tool imports the application components in a comparable component definition format, and defines a data relation between data, screens, and operations embodied in the application components in an application model. The application model has a static structural characteristic, a dynamic behavioral characteristic and an implementation characteristic. The static structural characteristic defines parts of the application. The dynamic behavioral characteristic defines responsiveness of the application to events or actions, and the implementation characteristic describes elements required for deploying the application. The modeling tool updates the cross-component mapping. The modeling tool further includes a mapping analyzer for analyzing message components and data components in the application components, and generating a cross-component mapping. | 06-03-2010 |

| 20100167696 | DEVICE-BASED NETWORK SERVICE PROVISIONING - A device-based network service provisioning model is provided in which a wireless device facilitates a subscriber to provide provisioning information for activating carrier, value-added or other service provider services automatically. The model facilitates subscriber control while balancing service provider needs. Provisioning components may be provided to a device during a provisioning session to maintain service provider branding, look and feel and other control over a subscriber's experience. Provisioning components may be dynamically generated to capture current services, subscriber plans and particular device criteria. In one embodiment, service provider-side components define a service-oriented interface (e.g. Web services) for receiving a subscriber's provisioning information. Device-side components define an interface to request and receive the provisioning components and to provide provisioning information to the service-oriented interface. A gateway may be interposed between the device and service-oriented interface to provide the provisioning components to the wireless device and proxy provisioning session communications. | 07-01-2010 |

| 20090297317 | APPARATUS FOR LIFTING PIPELINES - Apparatus for the lifting of pipelines, includes a frame having two vertical side beams and a transverse top beam interposed between the vertical beams. Two concave and symmetrically disposed supporting members pivotally connect to the two vertical beams, respectively, and are configured to achieve a pipe supporting position without applying a radial inwardly directed force to the bottommost portion of the pipe when the frame is suitably lowered and the supporting members are suitably pivoted. A driving unit is disposed within, and fixedly attached to, each of the supporting members, for generating a linear downwardly directed force; a force transmitting element connected to a driving unit rod along which a corresponding driving unit housing is slidingly displaceable. A control unit independently controls each of the driving units; and at least one connector releasably connects the two supporting members to one another when the supporting members are in a pipe supporting position. The control unit is adapted to immobilize the force transmitting elements against a trench bed in a pre-lifting mode when a first force is generated by the driving units, and to lift each of the driving unit housings together with the corresponding supporting member with respect to the corresponding force transmitting element in a lifting mode when a suitable second force greater than the first force is generated by each of the driving units. | 12-03-2009 |
