20110238043ATTACHMENT DEVICE FOR ATTACHING A RIGID BODY TO AN ARBITRARY MEDICAL INSTRUMENT - The invention relates to an attachment adapter for attaching additional functions to a surgical tool. The attachment adapter provides a joint or a coupling between two instruments, e.g. a surgical tool and a navigation marker. The attachment adapter comprises an attachment body for attaching a surgical tool to the attachment adapter and a mounting seat with a mechanical coupling for fastening an add-on device to the attachment adapter. The attachment body comprises an elongate part adapted to receive the winding of a line and provided with at least two legs adapted to fit in an astride position on an elongate part of a surgical tool. It also comprises a line securing means adapted for securing a line, wound around the attachment body to join the attachment adapter to the surgical tool, in a locking position.09-29-2011

20100044989SUSPENSION ASSEMBLIES WITH BUMP STEER CONTROL - A suspension assembly for an agricultural machine, adapted to reduce bump steering. The suspension assembly includes a strut shaft, a hollow tube, a cushioning mechanism, and a force control pad. The strut shaft can have an elongated body having a first end, a second end, and a middle portion, the middle portion defining a cutout. A wheel support can extend from the strut shaft and can be adapted to carry a wheel. The hollow tube can be at least partially disposed around the strut shaft and can be adapted to allow longitudinal motion of the strut shaft. The cushioning mechanism can cushion the longitudinal motion of the strut shaft. The force control pad, which can be connected to the hollow tube, can be engageable to the flat area of the strut shaft. The force control pad can impart or resist rotational force when engaged to the strut shaft.02-25-2010

20080229838WELDED HEADER FOR PRESSURE TRANSMITTER - A pressure transmitter comprises a metal wall separating a process pressure chamber from an electronics compartment. The metal wall has a stepped bore with a bore shelf facing the process pressure chamber. A metal header has a stepped outer rim with a header shelf that contacts the bore shelf. The metal header includes at least one electrical feedthrough with a glass-to-metal seal adjacent the stepped outer rim. A welded seal seals the stepped outer rim to the stepped bore.09-25-2008
20090072994HIGH PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE FOR PROCESS TRANSMITTERS - A process transmitter includes at least one sensor which monitors a process variable, and analog-to-digital (A/D) converter circuitry coupled to the at least one sensor and configured to provide process variable data indicative of process variable values. A digital signal processor (DSP) is coupled to the A/D converter circuitry to receive the process variable data. The DSP comprises a co-processor configured to receive and perform calculations on the process variable data from the A/D converter circuitry to generate output data. Communications circuitry of the process transmitter is configured either to control communication over loop wiring which can be coupled to the process transmitter, or to control wireless communications with the process transmitter. A microprocessor, separate from the co-processor of the DSP, is coupled between the co-processor and the communications circuitry to control movement of the output data from the DSP to the communications circuitry.03-19-2009
20090292484MULTIVARIABLE PROCESS FLUID FLOW DEVICE WITH ENERGY FLOW CALCULATION - A process fluid flow device includes a power supply module, a process communication module, a processor and measurement circuitry. The process communication circuitry is coupled to the power supply module and to the processor. The measurement circuitry is operably coupleable to plurality of process variable sensors to obtain an indication of differential pressure, static pressure and process fluid temperature. The processor is configured to compute process fluid mass flow, and to use the static pressure and process fluid temperature to obtain an energy per unit mass value relative to the process fluid and to provide an energy flow indication.11-26-2009
20100106433MULTIVARIABLE PROCESS FLUID FLOW DEVICE WITH FAST RESPONSE FLOW CALCULATION - A process fluid flow device includes process communication circuitry, a processor, and measurement circuitry. The process communication circuitry is configured to communicate with at least one additional process device. The processor is coupled to the process communication circuitry and is configured to execute instructions to provide a plurality of cycles, wherein each cycle includes a number of flow-related calculations. Measurement circuitry is operably coupleable to a plurality of process variable sensors to obtain an indication of differential pressure during each cycle, and to obtain static pressure, and process fluid temperature. The processor is configured to compute a process fluid flow value using a current differential pressure sensor indication and at least one flow-related value calculated during a previous cycle. The process communication circuitry communicates the computed process fluid flow value to the at least one additional process device.04-29-2010

20100313439Method and Plant for Producing Biomass for Energy Production - A method and system are provided for taking out or culling, transporting and drying of culled or removed wood from a forest, where the wood is ground or cut into small fragments or units, such as chips, powder, or the like, and then transported out of the forest to a collecting and/or processing site. The ground or fragmented wood is transported over long distances, out from the forest, to a remotely placed collecting and/or processing site. The ground or fragmented wood being transported by a flow of air, and wherein the flow of air transporting the fragmented units is supplied with energy to secure reduction of the water content of the fragmented units during the transport.12-16-2010

20110239512SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A SLINGPLATE FOR FIREARMS - A slingplate for firearms which mounts to a firearm at its stock or other location and couplably receives a quick disconnect sling swivel or other portion of a sling for a firearm. A sling may be easily and securely attached to a firearm by pushing a quick disconnect sling swivel of a sling into the slingplate. Ball bearings protruding from the shank of the quick disconnect sling swivel are tensionally biased outward, engaging with a keyseat cut into a through hole disposed through the slingplate. The keyseat is one or more keyseat segments, which meet at two or more points within the keyseat and limit the rotation of the quick disconnect sling swivel. A raised bridge of the slingplate provides a gap in between the slingplate and the firearm such that the slingplate can act as a common sling loop, and facilitates removal of debris from the through hole.10-06-2011
