20080317720Fat-Derived Progenitor Cell and Use Thereof - An objective of the present invention is to provide methods for producing progenitor cells which show a high proliferation ability ex vivo and promote neovascularization or myocardium regeneration, by culturing pluripotent cells in a medium containing adrenomedullin (AM) and/or vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Moreover, another objective of the present invention is to provide the progenitor cells and uses thereof. In order to solve the above problems, the inventors of the present application have successfully developed a novel culture technique for producing progenitor cells from adipose tissues more efficiently compared to the conventional techniques, by using adrenomedullin (AM) and/or vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). The progenitor cells produced by the present inventors are specialized cells having a potent proliferation ability, a revascularization ability, and a myocardium regeneration ability, and have the property of not differentiating into adipocytes even if subjected to differentiation induction into adipocytes. Therefore, the progenitor cells of the present invention can be effective pharmaceutical agents for intractable diseases in the brain, lung, liver, kidney and the like.12-25-2008

20090052238SEMICONDUCTOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT - A semiconductor integrated circuit has a central processing unit and a rewritable nonvolatile memory area disposed in an address space of the central processing unit. The nonvolatile memory area has a first nonvolatile memory area and a second nonvolatile memory area, which memorize information depending on the difference of threshold voltages. The first nonvolatile memory area has the maximum variation width of a threshold voltage for memorizing information set larger than that of the second nonvolatile memory area. When the maximum variation width of the threshold voltage for memorizing information is larger, since stress to a memory cell owing to a rewrite operation of memory information becomes larger, it is inferior in a point of guaranteeing the number of times of rewrite operation; however, since a read current becomes larger, a read speed of memory information can be expedited. The first nonvolatile memory area can be prioritized to expedite a read speed of the memory information and the second nonvolatile memory area can be prioritized in guaranteeing the number of times of rewrite operation of memory information more.02-26-2009

20100149435VIDEO DISPLAY DEVICE AND LIGHT SOURCE DRIVING METHOD THEREOF - A display device uses a field sequential color scheme. Assume that a panel video writing period defines a period from the start of writing image data into a display panel to the completion of displaying the image on the basis of the image data in a sub-frame. A light source driving circuit generates a driving signal for gradually increasing the luminance of a light source of a color corresponding to a displayed image in the present sub-frame from zero to a predetermined value within the panel video writing period of the present sub-frame and for gradually decreasing the luminance of the light source from the predetermined value to zero within the panel video writing period of the next sub-frame. A light source driver drives the light source to emit light in accordance with the driving signal.06-17-2010
20120019720VIDEO DISPLAY DEVICE - A signal discriminating and monitoring circuit provides a full black detection circuit which detects a full black signal input during the change of the video signal and holds the detection result of the full black signal only during the specified time period. When a full black video signal is detected in the full black detection circuit, the signal discriminating and monitoring circuit detects whether the resolution of the video signal input has changed by determining whether the frequency of the horizontal synchronization signal included in the video signal of the next frame to be input changed above a preset value. When a change in the resolution of the video signal is detected, the change detected signal indicates that the detection result is output. When a scalar circuit receives the change detected signal, the video display signal is output as a constant value in order to set the display video in the static state.01-26-2012
