20130056907BALLOON FOLDING TECHNOLOGY - An apparatus for folding a pre-pleated catheter balloon comprises a stationary base member; a rotatable drive hub which is moveable in relation to the stationary base member; and a folding head aligned with respect to the stationary base member and to the rotatable drive hub. The folding head includes at least three segments, each having a proximal end and an angled distal end with at least one angled side face terminating in an edge of a predetermined length. The segments are arranged so that the segment distal ends are disposed adjacent to and defining a central aperture The segment distal ends move closer to the central point upon rotation of the rotatable hub member in a predetermined direction, whereby the balloon is folded around the shaft substrate upon rotation of the rotatable hub.03-07-2013

20090092936PRESSURE REGULATOR WITH BLEED ORIFICE - A pressure regulator having a housing that defines a gas inlet, a gas outlet, and a reference pressure connector. A diaphragm is provided in the housing, where the diaphragm defines, at least in part, a reference pressure chamber. In some illustrative embodiments, the reference pressure connector fluidly references the reference pressure chamber to a first pressure via a first orifice, and to a second pressure via a second bleed orifice. A gas valve incorporating a pressure regulator is also disclosed.04-09-2009
20100015560PILOT BURNER - An improved pilot burner includes an orifice plate defining a central orifice for metering a supply of gas and a gas tube. The gas tube includes a tube wall and defines a supply opening at a first end. The orifice plate is positioned within the gas tube at the supply opening, and the tube wall is crimped around the orifice plate to secure the orifice plate to the gas tube. The pilot burner also includes a burner tube having a first end for receiving a first end of the gas tube. The burner tube further includes a second end defining a flame opening. In another embodiment, a clip is used to secure the gas tube and the burner tube to a bracket.01-21-2010
20100282988SINGLE COIL REDUNDANT VALVE - A single magnetic coil floating plunger redundant gas valves is disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, the valve may include a first plunger tube, a second plunger tube spaced a distance from the first plunger tube, a magnetic coil disposed about at least part of the first plunger tube, a first plunger disposed within the first plunger tube, and a second plunger disposed within the second plunger tube. The first and second plungers may be operatively coupled to first and second valve members. Activation of the magnetic coil may result in the first and second plungers being suspended in the plunger tubes without a hard mechanical plunger stop to selectively open corresponding valves or other actuatable components, as desired.11-11-2010
20110045423GAS PILOT BURNER ASSEMBLY - A pilot burner assembly for easy removal of a thermo-electric or other device is disclosed. In an illustrative embodiment, a burner tube, thermo-electric device, and/or spark source are retained in a desired position via a bracket and resilient clip. The bracket may include retention features built into the bracket to help aid in the positioning of the burner tube, thermo-electric device, and/or spark source. The burner tube, thermo-electric device and/or spark source may include retention features that are configured to engage corresponding retention features in the bracket, when desired. The resilient clip may bias the retention features of the burner tube, thermo-electric device and/or spark source against corresponding the retention features of the bracket. One or more of the burner tube, thermo-electric device and/or spark source may be removed from the bracket by overcoming the bias force provided by the resilient clip to disengage the retention features of the burner tube, thermo-electric device and/or spark source from the corresponding retention features of the bracket, and sliding the component out of the bracket.02-24-2011

20120082463ELECTRO-OPTICAL COMMUNICATIONS LINK - A communications link for carrying data between a transmitter and a receiver operates according to a communications protocol (such as PCI Express (PCIe)) specifying a reduced-power link operating state in which the transmitter generates a reduced-amplitude electrical output signal and the receiver is to operate in a power-save mode. The communications link includes an electro-optical link and a circuit coupling an output of the transmitter to an electrical input of the electro-optical link. The circuit is configured to detect initiation of the reduced-power operating state and to send messages to the receiver to maintain a normal amplitude of an optical signal on the electro-optical link.04-05-2012
