The first light beam is adapted to be reflected into the projection lens and image into the screen while the micro mirrors are at a first angle. After traveling into the prism module and being reflected by the second reflection mechanism, the second light beam is emitted onto the micro mirrors. The second light beam is adapted to be reflected into the projection lens and image into the screen while the micro mirrors are at a second angle. The two light source modules would be switched therebetween according to the specific timing sequences and specific angles of the micro mirrors.12-10-2009
20090303707Light Source Transforming Apparatus and Light Source Apparatus Comprising the Same - A light source transforming apparatus and a light source apparatus comprising the same are provided. The light source apparatus comprises at least one light source and a light source transforming apparatus. The light source transforming apparatus comprises at least one light guiding medium and color-combining medium. The light source transforming apparatus is configured to receive incident light of the at least one light source and then transform the incident light into emergent light emitted from the color-combining medium and into a light integrator, wherein a divergent angle of the incident light is larger than a divergent angle of the emergent light, and a incident area of the light source is smaller than an emergent area of the color-combining medium.12-10-2009
20100007964LIGHT INTEGRATING DEVICE FOR AN ILLUMINATION SYSTEM AND ILLUMINATION SYSTEM USING THE SAME - A light integrating device for an illumination system and an illumination system. The illumination system includes a first light source module and a second light source module providing a first light and a second light, respectively. The device includes first and second light collecting elements and a beam splitting element. The first light travels into the first light collecting element and is split into a plurality of light groups by the beam splitting element. At least one light group travels into the second light collecting element from the beam splitting element. The second light travels into the second light collecting element, is reflected by the beam splitting element and emits out from the second light collecting element along the principle axis of the light integrating device together with the at least one light group which is split from the first light and travels into the second light collecting element.01-14-2010
