20080278110Multi-functional power supply device and operating method thereof - A multi-functional power supply device comprises: a secondary cell, a charging circuit, a controller, and a first connection unit. The secondary cell is used to store electrical energy, and produces a first voltage and a second voltage. When the first connection unit is electrically connected to a solar board, the charging circuit receives the electrical energy which is transformed from the solar board and is then stored in the secondary cell. The controller controls the second voltage to produce at least one output voltage to an application apparatus. Moreover, when the first connection unit changes to connect with a lighting device, the secondary cell provides the first voltage to the lighting device directly. Hence, the present invention provides power to the application apparatus, and produces a light source through the lighting device at the same time.11-13-2008

20100131272APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING AND VERIFYING A VOICE SIGNATURE OF A MESSAGE AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM THEREOF - Apparatuses and methods for generating and verifying a voice signature of a message and computer readable medium thereof are provided. The generation and verification ends both use the same set of pronounceable symbols. The set of pronounceable symbols comprises a plurality of pronounceable units, and each of the pronounceable units comprises an index and a pronounceable symbol. The generation end converts the message into a message digest by a hash function and generates a plurality of designated pronounceable symbols according to the message digest. A user utters the designated pronounceable symbols to generate the voice signature. After receiving the message and the voice signature, the verification end performs voice authentication to determine a user identity of the voice signature, performs speech recognition to determine the relation between the message and the voice signature, and determines whether the user generates the voice signature for the message.05-27-2010
20100332832TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SECURING ONLINE TRANSACTIONS - A two-factor authentication system is provided for securing online transactions. In the two-factor authentication system, a transaction server provides online transaction services. A mobile communication device receives short messages. A client computing device applies a first authentication function to communicate with the transaction server, receives, via short messages, a first authentication code used to authenticate the transaction server, and applies a second authentication function to generate a second authentication code. Next, the transaction server authenticates the client computing device with the second authentication function and second authentication code.12-30-2010

20100143597COMPOUND AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME - The invention provides a compound and method of producing the same. The method of the invention includes the following steps. First of all, Polycaprolactone (PCL), dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA), 4,4′-methylenebis (cyclohexyl isocyanate) (H12MDI), and dibutyltin dilaurate (DBT) are mixed in a solvent in the first place and a solution is formed. This solution is then mixed with triethylamine (TEA) and triethylene tetramine (TETA). After that, amino-terminated anionic waterborne polyurethane (WPU) is produced. A sol-gel process is proceeded with a mixture of amino-terminated anionic waterborne polyurethane, tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) without any extra catalyst, and a compound, waterborne polyurethane-silica nanocomposite materials, is eventually produced.06-10-2010
20110086960CARBON NANOTUBE COMPOUND AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME - The invention provides a carbon nanotube compound and method for producing the same. The method of the invention comprises the following steps. Firstly, Aniline-trimer and DMAc (dimethyl acetamide) solution are mixed to form a first solution. Secondly, Dianhydride and DMAc solution are mixed to form a second solution. The first solution and the second are mixed to form a third solution. Additionally, carboxyl-multiwall carbon nanotubes (c-MWNT), Diaminodiphenylether and DMAc solution are mixed to form a fourth solution. The third solution and the fourth are mixed to form a polyamic acid/CNT solution. Some polyamic acid/CNT solution is spread on a substrate and processed by a thermal treatment, and a carbon nanotube compound is eventually produced.04-14-2011
