20100277788ELECTROCHROMIC DISPLAY MODULE AND COMPOSITION WITH IMPROVED PERFORMANCE - An electrochromic display module employing a unique combination of architecture and electrochromic composition to provide an extended life to the module. The architecture may involve the use of an extended seal about a perimeter of a display portion where the composition is located. In this manner, the rate of solvent leakage from the composition may be substantially reduced. Additionally, the electrochromic composition itself may make use of particular low volatility solvents and constituent combinations so as to discourage the amount particle generation therein. Ultimately, an electrochromic display module having a useful life of more than about 3 years may be provided.11-04-2010

20090130810Fabrication method - A process and an architecture related to a vertical MOSFET device and a capacitor for use in integrated circuits. The integrated circuit structure includes a semiconductor layer with a major surface and further including a first doped region formed in the surface. A second doped region of a different conductivity type than the first doped region is positioned over the first region. A third doped region of a different conductivity type than the second region is positioned over the second region. The integrated circuit includes a capacitor having a bottom plate, dielectric layer and a top plate. In an associated method of manufacture, a first device region, is formed on a semiconductor layer. A field-effect transistor gate region is formed over the first device region. A capacitor comprising top and bottom layers and a dielectric layer is formed on the semiconductor layer.05-21-2009
20100044767STRUCTURE AND FABRICATION METHOD FOR CAPACITORS INTEGRATIBLE WITH VERTICAL REPLACEMENT GATE TRANSISTORS - A process and an architecture related to a vertical MOSFET device and a capacitor for use in integrated circuits. Generally, the integrated circuit structure includes a semiconductor layer with a major surface formed along a plane thereof and further including a first doped region formed in the surface. A second doped region of a different conductivity type than the first doped region is positioned over the first region. A third doped region of a different conductivity type than the second region is positioned over the second region. In one embodiment of the invention, a semiconductor device includes a first layer of semiconductor material and a first field-effect transistor having a first source/drain region formed in the first layer. A channel region of the transistor is formed over the first layer and an associated second source/drain region is formed over the channel region. The integrated circuit further includes a capacitor having a bottom plate, dielectric layer and a top capacitor plate. In an associated method of manufacture, a first device region, selected from the group consisting of the source region and a drain region of a field-effect transistor is formed on a semiconductor layer. A first field-effect transistor gate region is formed over the first device region. A capacitor comprising top and bottom layers with a dielectric layer disposed therebetween, is also formed on the semiconductor layer. In another embodiment, the capacitor layers are formed within a trench or window formed in the semiconductor layer.02-25-2010

20110277019SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURE ACCESS OF A REMOTE SYSTEM - A system and method for providing a user with secure access to devices operatively connected to a network comprising at least one processing device that has access to a database. The database maintains information for each user of the system, such as the user's login credentials and access level or permissions, along with information corresponding to each network device, such as, for example, the device's login credentials, IP address, and port settings. The processing device authenticates each user and then provides each user with access to the network devices as defined by the data maintained in the database corresponding to the respective user and the network devices.11-10-2011

20090009012ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MAGNETIZATION OF PERMANENT MAGNET ROTORS IN ELECTRICAL MACHINES - A magnetizer for a rotor of an electrical machine is provided. The magnetizer includes a magnetizing yoke and coils wound around the magnetizing yoke. The magnetizing yoke includes multiple pole-pieces extending therefrom, and at least some of the pole-pieces include a cobalt alloy.01-08-2009
20090309431 APPARATUS FOR USING AN ELECTRICAL MACHINE TO TRANSPORT FLUIDS THROUGH A PIPELINE - A stator for an electrical machine includes teeth assembled from a plurality of stacked laminations mounted on a cylindrical protective surface thereby forming a plurality of slots. The stator also includes an armature winding assembled within the teeth by inserting components of the armature winding into the plurality of stator slots from positions external to the teeth in a manner that facilitates mitigating potential for coil distortion. The armature winding includes a plurality of coils that each include an end winding. The stator further includes a segmented yoke inserted around the armature winding in a manner that facilitates mitigating a potential for disturbing the end winding of the coils. Independently assembling the stator components in this manner facilitates varying a thickness and/or the number of heat conducting laminations between the yoke and teeth that subsequently facilitates heat transfer from the armature winding to an outer pressure casing of the machine.12-17-2009
