20090124118BATTERY TERMINAL CONNECTOR - A cable connector having a one-piece body with a termination end for terminating an electrical cable and a clamping end for clamping to a terminal post is provided. The cable connector's clamping end may include a pair of spaced apart deformably movable clamping arms for supporting the terminal post therebetween. A lever attached to the movable arms may also be provided where the lever may be actuable between a first position urging the arms towards one another to clamp the clamping end to the terminal post and a second position urging the arms apart so as to unclamp the arms from the terminal post to permit removal of the connector body from the terminal post.05-14-2009
20090139156FAST BEAM CLAMP - The present invention provides a beam clamp including a clamp base and a rotational portion. The base includes an interior cavity and an external surface. The base and the rotational portion are pivotably connected by a mateable device. The rotational portion extends into the interior cavity of the base and the rotational portion includes a torsion spring.06-04-2009
20090166053TWO-GANG ADJUSTABLE MUD RING - This invention pertains to an adjustable cover for an electrical outlet box. The cover is configured having a generally planar mounting plate with a collar surrounding an opening through this mounting plate. An extension sleeve moves within this opening and adjacent the collar. At least one fastener is located adjacent the opening and is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The fastener operates a locking device that engages wedges against the extension sleeve when the fastener is in the locked position and disengages wedges against the extension sleeve when the fastener is in the unlocked position.07-02-2009
20090194312CONVERTIBLE COVER PLATE FOR A FLOOR BOX - Disclosed herein is an electrical floor box cover assembly with a convertible top plate. The inventive convertible top plate can be installed in two orientations, resulting in either a flush or recessed finished assembly. The cover assembly is affixed to a floor mounted electrical box, and includes a floor box cover having a center opening, with the inventive convertible cover plate affixed thereto. In a first orientation of the cover plate, a cover plate protrusion is inserted into the center opening of the floor box cover, providing a flush surface in the cover assembly. In a second orientation, a flat surface of the cover plate is facing up, so that the center opening of the floor box cover forms a recess in the cover assembly. Also provided is a port in the floor box cover, through which cables or wires can be threaded from the electrical fixture to the exterior of the floor box cover assembly while the cover is in an attached position.08-06-2009
20090236918WHILE-IN-USE ELECTRICAL BOX THAT SHUTS POWER OFF TO THE DEVICE WHEN COVER IS OPEN - The present invention is directed to a “while-in-use” electrical device cover that shuts the power off to the device when the cover is open. The power is re-activated when the cover is closed using a cam device.09-24-2009
20100147547PIVOTING WHILE-IN-USE ELECTRICAL BOX AND COVER - The present invention is directed to a “while-in-use” electrical box device including an electrical box housing and pivotable cover which function as an integral unit and rotate on a fixed frame.06-17-2010
20110005800PROTECTIVE COVER - An assembly includes a mud ring and a detachable cover. The mud ring includes a planar surface including slots for mounting the mud ring to a utility box. The mud ring also includes a raised portion comprising side walls and end walls, the raised portion being elevated with respect to the planar surface. The detachable cover is connected to the raised portion by at least one hinged mechanism, the hinged mechanism being configured to be broken away from the mud ring.01-13-2011
20110041292CABLE GRIPPING DEVICE - A device for gripping a cable is presented that has a retention member rotatably disposed within a cable guide such that upon entrance of the cable within an entrance port, the cable moves between the retention member and a wall, causing the retention member to simultaneously rotate and move toward the exit port and away from the wall until it abuts the exit wall and rotates in place as the cable is pushed out the exit port. When the cable is pulled toward the entrance port, the retention member simultaneously rotates and moves toward the entrance port and the wall, wedging the cable between the wall and the retention member.02-24-2011
20110121153STRUT CLAMP - An assembly includes a first structure and a clamp configured to clamp the first structure to a second structure. The clamp may include a top portion configured to extend through the slot, where the top portion includes a head, a neck portion coupled to the head and a cylindrical body coupled to the neck portion. The clamp may also include a rotatable nut located adjacent the slot, where the rotatable nut has an opening to receive the cylindrical body. The clamp may further include a spring nut configured to receive a portion of the cylindrical body. The rotatable nut is configured to be turned such that when the head of the clamp is aligned with the slot in the first structure, the top portion of the clamp is configured to lower into the opening and clamp the first structure to a second structure.05-26-2011
