20080280725PLANETARY GEAR DEVICE WITH TWO SUN GEARS HAVING DIFFERENT DIAMETERS - A planetary gear device having two sun gears with different diameters that engage with double planet gears having a first gear teeth area, which interacts with the fist sun gear, and a second gear teeth area, which interacts with the second sun gear. The double planet gears are continuous helical gear wheels. The crown circle diameters of the gear teeth areas of the double planet gears and the crown circle diameters of the sun gears are adapted such that the pitch circle diameters between the double planet gears and the sun gears are arranged in the center between the crown circle diameters and the effective root diameters of the gear teeth areas of the double planet gears and the sun gears.11-13-2008

20080252408Coil Form for Forming an Inductive Element - The coil form according to the invention for forming an inductive element includes a hollow cylindrical mantle portion, two flange portions and a slit. The flange portions and the mantle portion form a winding chamber for winding therein a wire that forms a first winding or a part of a first winding of the inductive element. The coil form, which is completely made of copper, forms a second coil or a winding of a second coil of the inductive element. Due to the increased contact surface between the first and the second coil the heat dissipation capabilities and the magnetic coupling between the coils are increased. This in turn results in an increased power density of the inductive element.10-16-2008

20100273224PRODUCTION OF LACTIC ACID BY WAY OF FERMENTATION AND EXTRACTION OF AMINES - The invention relates to a process for the production and isolation of lactic acid which is produced by way of fermentation of a carbohydrate-bearing feedstock and the addition of ammonia. The lactic acid is released from the ammonium salt of the lactate by adding a mineral acid and the lactic acid isolation takes place by extraction with the aid of an alkylated amine. The extraction is preferably operated at a pH value of 4.0 to 2.0, thereby obtaining a multi-phase mixture which is split up. The phase thus obtained with the lactate salt of amine subsequently undergoes distillation, so that lactic acid is obtained as pure product or the phase with the lactate salt of amine are thermally decomposed, thereby producing an oligolactide that is distillable and thus yields a pure dilactide. The invention also encompasses a device suitable for the performance of the inventive process.10-28-2010

20090046111Method For Operating A Device - A method for operating a navigation device provides a driver with the option of being presented with an overview of the route lying ahead in addition to a detailed illustration of the current position along the route section, namely without any complicated interactions with the navigation device. This navigation device independently changes the scale of the display of the route on the display means in dependence on a manually selected operating mode. The advantage of this method can be seen in a semi-automated solution that always enables the driver to decide exactly which information should be displayed by his navigation device at which time.02-19-2009
