20080280211 | Electrolyte for Lithium Secondary Battery Comprising Chelating Agent and Lithium Secondary Battery Using the Same - Disclosed herein is an electrolyte for lithium secondary batteries comprising: a chelating agent, which forms complexes with transition metal ions in the battery, and at the same time does not react and coordinate with lithium ions; a non-aqueous solvent; and an electrolyte salt, as well as a lithium secondary battery comprising the electrolyte. The chelating agent, which is contained in the electrolyte for lithium secondary batteries, can suppress a side reaction in which transition metal ions are reduced and deposited as transition metals on the anode. Also, the chelating agent can suppress internal short-circuits in the battery and the resulting voltage drop of the battery and a reduction in the safety and performance of the battery, which can occur when transition metals are deposited on the anode. | 11-13-2008 |

20110275786 | PROCESS FOR PURIFYING VANCOMYCIN WET BODY - Provided is a process for purifying a vancomycin wet body, comprising: dissolving a wet body obtained from a microorganism-fermented solution containing vancomycin into a water soluble solvent to a concentration of about 1 to 40 g/L and carrying out reverse osmosis filtration; and carrying out lyophilization of the filtered vancomycin. The process for purifying a vancomycin wet body provides high-purity vancomycin, while avoiding degradation of stability during a drying step. | 11-10-2011 |
20120315284 | COMPOSITION FOR ENHANCING TRAIL SENSITIVITY COMPRISING INHIBITORS FOR EXPRESSION OR ACTIVITY OF TIP41 AS A TARGET GENE OF TRAIL SENSITIZER - The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, including inhibitors for expression or activity of TIP41 protein, for prevention and treatment of cancer. When the liver cancer cell lines, showing resistance to TRAIL, are treated with TIP41 siRNA and TRAIL, apoptosis is induced in cancer cell. The same effect is found in cases of lung cancer and colon cancer with resistance against TRAIL. Moreover, this induction of apoptosis by TIP41 siRNA and TRAIL was confirmed in tumor xenograft, which was injected with Huh7 liver cancer cells and then was subjected to TIP41 siRNA transfection and TRAIL treatment. In addition, it was confirmed through animal experiments in which the tumor size has reduced and apoptosis was induced by treatment with TIP41 siRNA and TRAIL. Of note, MKK7/JNK pathway was confirmed to mediate the apoptosis induced by the application of TIP41 siRNA and TRAIL. The apoptosis were verified to be caused by the activation of MKK7/JNK signaling pathway. Taken together, the present invention provide the strong evidence that the pharmaceutical composition, including inhibitors for TIP41 expression or activity can be used for cancer prevention and treatment as well as an anti-cancer adjuvant. Taken together, the pharmaceutical composition comprising inhibitors for expression or activity of TIP41 protein may be used for prevention and treatment of cancer or as an anti-cancer adjuvant. | 12-13-2012 |
20130164512 | RESIN ARTICLE - Provided is a resin article produced by melt processing and having layers formed by a layer-separation. having a layer-separated structure. The resin article may include a first resin layer and a second resin layer formed on the first resin layer. Also, the component of the first resin layer is detected on a surface of the second resin layer by infrared spectrometer. The resin article may have improved mechanical and surface characteristics. Further, since coating or plating is not required for manufacturing a resin article, a manufacturing time and/or cost can be reduced, and productivity can be increased. | 06-27-2013 |
20130164513 | RESIN ARTICLE - Provided is a resin article produced by melt processing and having layers formed by a layer-separation. The resin article may include a first resin layer, a second resin layer formed on the first resin layer and an interface layer including a first resin and a second resin and formed between the first resin layer and the second resin layer. The resin article may have improved mechanical and surface characteristics.
