CONTROL SYSTEM FOR REEL MECHANISM - A reel control system is disclosed for eliminating known problems with reel mechanisms used in gaming machines. First of all, phase setting of the reel position is greatly simplified. The control system also provides a relatively accurate method for determining if a reel position has moved from a standstill position, due to low power, no power or outright tampering. Any movement of the reel can be corrected. The reel control system is also configured with multiple serial bus interfaces connected to a single serial bus that, in turn, can be connected to multiple stepper motor drivers which provides for fast response time to commands. In accordance with other aspects of the invention, the reel control system can drive multiple stepper motor drivers configured with the same physical address to reduce manufacturing costs and is further configured to simultaneously drive multiple reels, different distances, different directions, with different numbers of symbols per reel as well as drive different types of reels. | 03-10-2011

HYDROGEN FUEL ASSIST DEVICE FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND METHOD - A hydrogen fuel system for an internal combustion engine includes a water reservoir and a fuel cell in fluid communication with the water reservoir. An oxygen line is fluidly coupled to the hydrogen fuel cell and receives and transports oxygen away from the fuel cell. A hydrogen line is fluidly coupled to the fuel cell and receives and transports hydrogen away from the fuel cell. An engine gas interface is fluidly coupled to the oxygen line and the hydrogen line, and operatively coupled to an engine intake. The engine gas interface receives oxygen and hydrogen from the oxygen and hydrogen lines, and introduces the hydrogen and oxygen into the engine intake. A vibration sensor is operatively coupled to the engine gas interface to detect engine vibration of the internal combustion engine, and deactivates the fuel when the sensor does not detect vibration from the engine. | 11-04-2010

TREE-STRUCTURED DATA DISPLAY - Some general aspects of the invention relate to systems and computer-implemented methods of generating a treemap display. A collection of data elements characterized by a first attribute is accepted, and some data elements are grouped into a first set of data elements according to a first rule associated with the first attribute. A treemap field is partitioned into a collection of cells according to the grouping result, and the collection of cells includes a first cell representing the first set of data elements. The first cell has a first dimension corresponding to a value of the first attribute of the first set of data elements. The first set of data elements is then divided into a collection of subsets of data elements according to a second rule. Correspondingly, the first cell of the treemap field is partitioned into a collection of sub-cells according to the division. Each sub-cell represents a respective one of the plurality of subsets of data elements. | 02-18-2010
Enterprise Speech Intelligence Analysis - A method includes accepting, via an input interface, a caller identifier parameter and a target value of at least one call series parameter; identifying, using a data processor, a plurality of calls each associated with the caller identifier parameter from amongst a set of calls stored in a call center database; analyzing, using the data processor, the identified plurality of calls to determine a value of the at least one call series parameter for the identified plurality of calls; comparing, using the data processor, the determined value of the at least one call series parameter with the target value of the at least one call series parameter; and defining, using the data processor, the identified plurality of calls as a call series based at least in part on results of the comparing. | 12-30-2010
Enhancing Call Center Performance - Some general aspects of the invention relate to systems and methods of processing data, for example, to improve customer interactions. One aspect, in particular, relates to a computer-implemented method that includes accepting user input for analysis of a database having media data and metadata. The media data includes a group of audio recordings and the metadata includes descriptive information of the group of audio recordings. A representation of a set of call series is formed based on user input, and processed to generate an analysis report. A visual representation of the analysis report is formed for presentation to a user. | 12-30-2010

AFTERTREATMENT MOUNTING SYSTEM - An exhaust aftertreatment module comprising a plurality of mounts for connecting the module to a surface. The mounts are arranged in a radial pattern around a central location of the module. The mounts also have a direction of travel aligned with a radial direction of expansion that passes through the central location. | 04-26-2012

TREPROSTINIL TREATMENT FOR INTERSTITIAL LUNG DISEASE AND ASTHMA - The present invention describes methods for using Treprostinil or its derivative, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for the treatment and/or prevention of interstitial lung disease or asthma, or a condition, such as pulmonary fibrosis, associated with interstitial lung disease or a condition associated with asthma. The invention also relates to kits for treatment and/or prevention of such condition that include an effective amount of Treprostinil or its derivative, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. | 11-13-2008
BUFFER SOLUTIONS HAVING SELECTIVE BACTERICIDAL ACTIVITY AGAINST GRAM NEGATIVE BACTERIA AND METHODS OF USING SAME - Buffer solutions for pharmaceutical preparations that have bactericidal activity preferentially against gram negative bacteria are provided. The buffers have a pH of greater than about 10 or less than about 4.5 with low buffer capacity. Methods of their use in reducing the occurrence of blood stream infections in a mammal is also provided. | 03-26-2009
