20110088019Asynchronous Preemptive Edit Time Semantic Analysis of a Graphical Program - System and method for analyzing a graphical program. A graphical program is displayed on a display. A semantic edit operation is performed on the graphical program in response to user input. The semantic edit operation is performed by a first process. Semantic analysis of the graphical program is performed by a second process in response to performing the semantic edit operation, where the second process is asynchronous with respect to the first process. Results from the semantic analysis of the graphical program are displayed in response to completion of the semantic analysis. If during the semantic analysis, another semantic edit operation is performed on the graphical program, the semantic analysis may be preemptively terminated and re-initiated. Displaying results from the semantic analysis of the graphical program may then include displaying results from the re-initiated semantic analysis of the graphical program in response to completion of the re-initiated semantic analysis.04-14-2011

20110089316IN-LINE IMAGE SENSOR IN COMBINATION WITH LINEAR VARIABLE FILTER BASED SPECTROPHOTOMETER - A photosensitive apparatus including a full width array of photosensors and a first photosensor chip. The first photosensor chip including a linear array of photosensors having a plurality of pixels arranged in a long direction and a linear variable filter adapted to transmit at least ten unique bandwidths of wavelengths of light along a length of the linear variable filter where the linear variable filter is fixedly secured to the linear array. Each respective pixel receives a unique bandwidth of wavelengths of light as a light passes through the linear variable filter and the length is aligned with the long direction. The full width array of photosensors is arranged perpendicular to a process direction of a printing device.04-21-2011

20090188446Fashion Collar - A collar comprises a strip of material. A buckle couples to the strip of material. A plurality of attachment ports couple to the strip of material. A fashion attachment comprises a plurality of coupling ports, and each coupling port couples to one of the plurality of attachment ports.07-30-2009
20090188527Cleaning System and Method - A method for cleaning a portion of material comprises identifying a portion of material requiring cleaning. The method places a first absorbent pad on the identified portion. The first absorbent pad comprises a super-absorbent material and a liquid-resistant backing. The method places a first weight on top of the first absorbent pad. The method allows a period of time to elapse. The method removes the first weight and the first absorbent pad from the identified portion. In an additional embodiment, the method further comprises spraying neutralizer on the identified portion. The method places a second absorbent pad on the identified portion. The second absorbent pad comprises a super-absorbent material and a liquid-resistant backing. The method places a second weight on top of the second absorbent pad. The method allows a period of time to elapse. The method removes the second weight and the second absorbent pad from the identified portion. In one embodiment, the first absorbent pad and the second absorbent pad each comprise a smooth-finish meltblown pad comprising a first side and a second side; a liquid-resistant layer coupled to the smooth-finish meltblown pad and configured to define an enclosed cavity between the liquid-resistant layer and the first side of the smooth-finish meltblown pad; and an absorbent powder disposed within the enclosed cavity.07-30-2009

20080209785Self-standing collapsible portable structure and method - A collapsible portable structure employs elongate side panels of a generally triangular shape, each formed by a flexible frame member within a retaining sleeve and fabric within an interior of the frame member. The elongate side panels thus form a pyramidal structure when in a non-collapsed position, the structure having an overall height that is greater than the width of any of the side panels at their widest point. Weights preferably at corner panels between bottom corners of adjacent side panels improve stability for outdoor use. The structure collapses into a substantially cylindrical shape.09-04-2008
20080244947Portable information sign device - A portable sign including three legs movable between deployed and collapsed positions and a flexible covering bearing text, graphics or both includes a biasing mechanism urging the legs toward the deployed position. A support within the biasing mechanism secures three springs with the coils facing outward, one extension from each spring embedded in an upper support member and another extension movable within a plane tangential to a periphery of a lower support member and received by a hollow portion of one of the legs.10-09-2008
20090025265Self-standing collapsible portable structure - A collapsible portable structure employs elongate side panels of a generally trapezoidal shape and has an overall height of between about 12 and about 36 inches in an expanded state and an aspect ratio of about 1.1:1 to about 1.5:1. Each panel is not more than about 21 inches wide at the widest point and may include upper and lower mesh portions, a central message-bearing portion and an optional reflective strip. Corner panels between bottom edges of adjacent side panel contain weighting material therein to improve stabilization. A top panel may be formed of a mesh material and include a central grommet.01-29-2009

20120028624SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING MOBILE DEVICE SAFETY BY SELECTIVELY DISABLING DEVICE FEATURES DURING UNSAFE OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS - A system for improving safe operation of mobile communication devices includes an operational module installable on a mobile communication device. The mobile communication device is able to communicate wirelessly over a mobile communications network and has a plurality of internal sensors, a plurality of external sensors, a user interface, and a plurality of communications modules. The operational module is able to monitor at least one of the internal sensors and the external sensors, to determine whether the mobile communication device state is one of a plurality of predetermined device states. The predetermined device states represent predetermined watch list operations, which are determined based on improving the safe operation of the mobile communication device. The operational module executes predetermined operations in the event the mobile communication device state is one of the plurality of predetermined device states, which include controlling operation of the user interface and at least one of the plurality of communications modules.02-02-2012
