20110216206MEDIA VIEWING - A portable electronic device comprises a display facing in a first direction, a video camera facing in a second direction substantially opposite to the first direction, and a wireless communications receiver operable to receive supplementary image data from a remote image source, the supplementary image data comprising an indication of where a supplementary image is positioned with respect to a reference image. The portable electronic device is arranged in operation to display a captured image from the video camera on the display of the portable electronic device. When the captured image comprises all or part of the reference image as displayed on a separate display associated with the remote image source, the portable electronic device is arranged in operation to display the supplementary image positioned with respect to the reference image, instead of the corresponding part of the captured image.09-08-2011

20110030793METHOD FOR PRODUCING PHOTOVOLTAIC-GRADE CRYSTALLINE SILICON BY ADDITION OF DOPING IMPURITIES AND PHOTOVOLTAIC CELL - Production of photovoltaic grade crystalline silicon is achieved by crystallization of a molten silicon feedstock, the sum of the initial donor doping element and acceptor doping element concentrations whereof is greater than 0.1 ppma, and both the acceptor and donor doping element concentrations whereof are less than 25 ppma. At least a predefined quantity of a doping material having a segregation coefficient of less than 0.1 is added to the feedstock. This addition enables a crystallized silicon to be produced the difference between the donor and acceptor doping profiles whereof is comprised between 0.1 and 5 ppma over at least 50% of the solidified silicon. A silicon presenting a concentration of at least one of the dopants is greater than or equal to 5 ppma and a difference less than or equal to 5 ppma between these two types of dopant is integrated in a photovoltaic cell.02-10-2011

20110035722Method for Specifying Stateful, Transaction-Oriented Systems for Flexible Mapping to Structurally Configurable In-Memory Processing Semiconductor Device - A method for specifying stateful, transaction-oriented systems is provided. The method initiates with designating a plurality of primitive FlowModules. The method includes defining at least one FlowGate within each of the plurality of FlowModules, wherein each FlowGate includes a non-interruptible sequence of procedure code, a single point of entry and is invoked by a named concurrent call. An Arc is designated from a calling FlowGate to a called FlowGate and a Signal is generated for each named invocation of the called FlowGate. A Channel is defined for carrying the Signal. Methods for synthesizing a semiconductor device and routing signals in the semiconductor device are provided.02-10-2011

20110093790PREEMPTIVE CACHING FOR WEB-BASED SYSTEMS - The present invention provides a system and methods for pre-fetching of customized web content associated with a user profile in a cache upon receiving user identification, but before the user provides authentication details. Further, the present invention provides a method and system for rendering of the cached customized web content to the user once the user authentication is received. The method and system decrease the time required for a user to request and receive a dynamically generated user-tailored web page post-authentication. It controls the cache pre-fetch mechanism through a trigger. The trigger notifies the cache (web server) to pre-fetch user-specific resources into a user profile graph either when a user cookie is present when the user navigates to the web site or as user authentication credentials are entered to the web page by the user. The present invention permits the pre-fetching of user information prior to actual authentication by the web application.04-21-2011
