20080287645Method for preparing polymer polyol stabilizer using maleic anhydride, and polymer polyol stabilizer prepared thereby - Disclosed herein is a novel stabilizer for preparing a polymer polyol, which is used to prepare polyurethane foam having improved physical properties. The stabilizer is prepared by allowing maleic anhydride to react with a polyether polyol, having an OH functionality of 3-8 and a molecular weight of 3,000-15,000, and then adding ethylene oxide to the reaction solution. Because the molecular weight and functionality of the stabilizer are increased through aging and dimerization, the stabilizer has a high molecular weight of 5,000-30,000, a high OH functionality of 6-10 and a viscosity of 3,000-15,000 cps/25° C. A polymer polyol derived from the stabilizer has low viscosity compared to those of prior products and contributes to the improvement in the physical properties of the resulting polyurethane foam.11-20-2008
20090156717Synthetic stryrene resin composition for environment-friendly window frame - Disclosed are a synthetic resin composition for use as building materials such as window frames, as well as a product manufactured using the same. More particularly, the synthetic resin composition comprises a tetrapolymer of acrylic rubber-styrene monomer-butadiene rubber-vinyl cyanide monomer and a styrene-vinyl cyanide copolymer having a high molecular weight and a high degree of dispersion. Unlike products manufactured using prior polyvinyl chloride (PVC), building material such as window frames manufactured using the synthetic resin composition are recyclable, and thus can contribute to a reduction in the generation of hormone-disrupting chemical dioxin, which is released in the burning thereof. Also, the resin composition can be manufactured into products having excellent properties of weather resistance and colorability without using environmental pollutants such as cadmium stearate or lead stearate, which are used as thermal stabilizers.06-18-2009

20110160454SATURATED N-HETEROCYCLIC CARBENE-LIGAND METAL COMPLEX DERIVATIVES, PREPARING METHOD THEREOF, AND PREPARING METHOD OF SILANE COMPOUND BY HYDROSILYLATION REACTION USING THE SAME AS CATALYST - Provided are a saturated N-heterocyclic carbene-ligand metal complex derivative, a method for preparing the same, and a method for preparing a silane compound by hydrosilylation using the same as a catalyst. To describe in more detail, the metal complex derivative has a saturated N-heterocyclic carbene derivative and an olefin ligand at the same time. A silane compound is prepared by hydrosilylation in the presence of the metal complex derivative as a catalyst. The provided metal complex derivative of the present invention has superior stability during hydrosilylation reaction and is capable of effectively performing the hydrosilylation reaction at low temperature even with small quantity. Further, a product with superior regioselectivity may be obtained. In addition, after the hydrosilylation reaction is completed, the metal complex derivative may be recovered and recycled.06-30-2011
