After attachment to the electrical junction box, the universal support bracket extends against the back wall surface to prevent the box from being pushed into the hollow space between wall boards; effectively securing the box in place. The brackets are adjustable, and consist of either two or three components, incorporating a ratchet or locking mechanism. The bracket provides small intervals to effectively accommodate the adjustment of numerous sizes of electrical outlet boxes with a variety of hollow wall depths.
