20080260565PROCESS FOR PRODUCING CONCENTRIC-CIRCULAR-GRADIENT FUNCTIONAL MATERIAL FOR BIOGENIC USE AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME - A concentric-circular-gradient functional material for biogenic use is produced using first, second, third and forth cylindrical partitions, and a cylindrical dice which are concentrically stood on a supporting stand. Ti powder (A) fills the first cylindrical partition. A first mixed powder including Ti powder (A) and biogenic material powder (B) fills between the first and second cylindrical partitions. A second mixed powder including a smaller amount of Ti powder (A) than the first mixed powder fills between the second and third cylindrical partitions. A third mixed powder including a smaller amount of Ti powder (A) than the second mixed powder fills between the third and fourth cylindrical partitions. The biogenic material powder (B) fills between the fourth cylindrical partition and the dice. The first to fourth partitions are pulled out. The dice is capped using a punch. The powders are sintered using a discharge plasma sintering machine.10-23-2008
20100168868LAYERED GRADIENT MATERIAL FOR BIOLOGICAL USE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME - A layered gradient material which comprises a plurality of layers composed of a mixture of hydroxyapatite and calcium tertiary phosphate and is obtained by producing a layered body by stacking a plurality of layers in which the compounding ratio of hydroxyapatite to calcium tertiary phosphate is stepwise or continuously changed and then sintering the layered body by the spark plasma sintering method is excellent in mechanical strength such as compressive strength, flexural strength and Young's modulus, and further, is excellent in biological reactivity such that in the case where it is used as a bone substitute material, bone destruction and new bone reconstruction actively occur. Accordingly, it is extremely useful as a biological material such as a bone substitute material, artificial tooth root and dental cement.07-01-2010

20120000889ELECTRODE WIRE FOR WIRE ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINING USING THE SAME - A wire material having a copper-zinc alloy layer, which is formed by action of thermal diffusion, and a zinc layer on its circumference surface is subjected to processes, including from a step of drawing the wire material to a step of reducing the diameter of the product, to reliably crash the copper-zinc alloy layer into particles. The particles are embedded in the circumference surface of a core to integrate the diffusion alloy layer and zinc layer with the core and prevent the diffusion alloy layer and zinc layer from falling off from the core. In addition, in order to cover cracks formed in the copper-zinc alloy layer during wire drawing with a zinc thin film, wire drawing is performed at temperatures appropriate for maintaining good malleability and ductility of zinc.01-05-2012

20110270587STRUCTURAL OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM, STRUCTURAL OPTIMIZATION METHODLOGY, AND STRUCTURAL OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM - The present invention enables a shape of an optimum structure to be clearly represented, and structural optimization having a high degree of freedom such as the allowance of a change in topology in a material domain Ω to be performed. The present invention sets a level set function φ; under a predetermined constraint condition, updates the level set function φ so as to bring a performance of a structure, such as a rigidity, close to a target value; moves a boundary ∂Ω between the material domain Ω and a void domain; allows a change in topology in the material domain Ω, which is associated with the update of the level set function φ, to form a new void domain in the material domain Ω; and moves a boundary ∂Ω between the new void domain and the material domain Ω.11-03-2011

20110065153METHOD OF PRODUCING L-LYSINE - The ability and speed with which a coryneform bacterium can produce L-lysine are improved when the coryneform bacterium contains an aspartokinase in which feedback inhibition by L-lysine and L-threonine is substantially desensitized. This is accomplished by successively enhancing the DNA coding for dihydrodipicolinate reductase, the DNA coding for dihydrodipicolinate synthase, the DNA coding for diaminopimelate decarboxylase, and the DNA coding for diaminopimelate dehydrogenase.03-17-2011

20110065099METHOD OF PRETREATING SPECIMEN AND IMMUNOASSAY USING THE SAME - The present invention provides a method of pretreating a specimen, which allows measurement according to an immunoassay to be carried out on a specimen from nasal secretion while preventing non-specific reactions. According to this method, the specimen from nasal secretion is treated with a protease beforehand and then an immunoassay is performed. As the protease, it is preferable to use semi-alkaline protease (EC 3.4.21.63). Furthermore, it is preferable that a substance to be pretreated by the pretreatment method according to the present invention is an influenza virus contained in the specimen from nasal secretion. The immunoassay preferably is an immunoagglutination assay. Examples of the immunoagglutination assay include a turbidimetric immunoassay, a latex turbidimetric immunoassay, and a latex agglutination assay that is performed on a slide glass.03-17-2011
