20080229888Stepless rotatable driving wrench - A stepless rotatable driving wrench having a unidirectional clutch acting on a driving element, wherein the driving element is preferably a square drive. The driving element is shiftable between two operable positions to project selectively from either side of the wrench so that driving in two opposed directions is enabled despite the unidirectional nature of the clutch. In each of the two operable positions, the driver operably projects from one side of the wrench while remaining entirely flush with the other side of the wrench. Ball detents releasably hold the driver in the selected operable position. Loss of the driver from either side of the wrench is prevented by an internal pin engaging a slot formed in the driver.09-25-2008

20080256470AUTOMATIC BIBLIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION WITHIN ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS - A method that enables automatic retrieval and transfer of bibliographical information whenever content is copied from a web page. During creation of a web page, the meta data defining each independent portion of the content is linked via paired comments or meta tags to bibliographical information associated with the content. When a person accesses the web site and copies the content from the site, the bibliographical information is automatically appended to the content. If that content is then pasted into a different document, e.g., within a word processing application, the bibliographical information is automatically transferred to a location for such information within the document. Also, if the content is saved, the bibliographical information is saved along with the content.10-16-2008

20090085511High Temperature Superconducting Electromechanical System With Frequency Controlled Commutation For Rotor Excitation - A system and method for generating a magnetic field in a rotating machine. In one embodiment, a primary winding assembly is configured to generate a rotatable magnetic field. The assembly is connected to receive multiple signals of different phases to effect field rotation. A set of secondary windings is positioned for generation of current based on magnetic coupling during the field rotation. The secondary windings include conductor capable of supporting superconducting current flow. A rotatable machine includes a stator and a rotor winding coupled for rotation with respect to the stator. The secondary windings are formed in a circuit for providing superconducting current through the rotor winding.04-02-2009
20090295168Electrical Machinery Incorporating Double Helix Coil Designs For Superconducting and Resistive Windings - An alternating current machine which generates a magnetic field or induces a voltage. In one the machine includes a stator and a rotor positioned about an axis. The stator includes three sets of coils, each set including at least a first pair of coil rows wired in series, with first and second members of the first pair configured to generate axial fields in opposite directions. Coil rows in the first pair of each set of coils are each arranged a different distance from the axis. A first member of the pair of the second set of coil rows is positioned between the first and second members of the pair of the first set of coil rows. The distance between the axis and the first member of the second pair of coil rows is intermediate the distances between the members of the first pair of coil rows and the axis.12-03-2009
