| 20080204281 | Electronic key system and portable unit - An electronic key system includes an in-vehicle unit mounted in a vehicle and a portable unit. When a user leaves the vehicle, the in-vehicle unit requests information on a relative position of the vehicle relative to a landmark object near the vehicle from a vehicle navigation device and transmits received relative position information to the portable unit. The portable unit stores the received relative position information, and notifies of the stored relative position information according to a user's operation. | 08-28-2008 |

| 20100205204 | HOMOLOGY RETRIEVAL SYSTEM, HOMOLOGY RETRIEVAL APPARATUS, AND HOMOLOGY RETRIEVAL METHOD - A homology retrieval can be performed with higher accuracy than conventional technologies when comparing a query sequence with a target sequence, and retrieving a similar location in the target sequence. The sequence information of a query sequence and a genomic-scale target sequence is acquired, the acquired information is compressingly converted into a compressed query sequence and a compressed target sequence in each of which a homopolymer region including two or more consecutive identical bases is replaced with a single base of the bases, the two sequences are compared, and a refining search is performed for a compressed target partial sequence that matches the compressed query sequence in the compressed target sequence. For the refined compressed candidate sequence and the query sequence, based on the information on the number of consecutive identical bases in the each of the sequences before compression, the number of consecutive bases is compared between the two compressed sequences for each corresponding base, and the degree of similarity indicating homology of the candidate sequence with the query sequence is computed from a degree of match or a degree of mismatch in the number of consecutive bases. By ranking and selecting an arbitrary number of candidate sequences having relatively high homology with the query sequence from this degree of similarity, it is possible to avoid the influence of the number of consecutive identical bases in a homopolymer region, thereby performing a homology retrieval accurately. | 08-12-2010 |

| 20120107920 | METHOD OF PRODUCING SUGAR SOLUTION AND SACCHARIFICATION DEVICE - To achieve efficient use of enzyme in obtaining a sugar solution through a reaction of the enzyme and biomass containing cellulose. In obtaining a sugar solution through a reaction of enzyme and biomass containing cellulose, the biomass and the enzyme are caused to react in a first reaction tank, whereby a sugar solution in which the enzyme is dispersed and a residue containing the unreached biomass adsorbing the enzyme are generated, these sugar solution and residue are next separated, a pH adjusting solution is supplied to the residue in a second reaction tank to prepare a dilute solution whose sugar concentration is lower than that of the sugar solution, and in this dilute solution, a sugar solution is generated through a reaction between the residue and the enzyme adsorbed to the residue. | 05-03-2012 |

| 20090159644 | MOLD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME - A mold welded with a dissimilar metal member manufactured by pressingly bringing the dissimilar metal member into contact with a mold formed of copper or a copper alloy in a stationary state while rotating the dissimilar metal member at a high speed, stopping the dissimilar metal member, and providing a forced pressure larger than the pressure in the first step to the mold. The present mold solves the problems of efficient cooling and attachment of back frame. Also, a variety of problems including cutting processing loss of copper or copper alloy plate, long processing times, heat distortion and heat deterioration of copper plates, etc, can be solved. Further, welding position precision and welding strength of stud bolts can be improved. Finally, the invention concerns a mold welded with a dissimilar metal member where the mold is manufactured by the first step shown above. | 06-25-2009 |
