20110016000 | CREATING CONTENT EXPERIENCE WITH VIDEO WIDGETS - Widgets on a web page may interact with each other in order to provide a rich, responsive content experience. In one example, the widgets that are provided may include a video player, a video gallery, a metadata pane, or any other components. The gallery may allow a user to select a video to be played, and the gallery may communicate the user's choice to the video player. The video player may then play the video that the user has selected. A container may be provided that allows widgets in the container to interoperate with each other. For example, the container may provide an interface that facilitates communication between a widget and the container, and between plural widgets. A tool may be provided that allows a designer to configure the widgets. | 01-20-2011 |

20110106514 | FORMATION MODELING WHILE DRILLING FOR ENHANCED HIGH ANGLE FOR HORIZONTAL WELL PLACEMENT - Methods for three-dimensionally characterizing a reservoir while drilling a high angle or horizontal wellbore through the reservoir are disclosed. An initial reservoir model for the reservoir is selected and a section is extracted for a planned trajectory of the wellbore. A secondary model is generated by performing secondary modeling for at least part of the planned trajectory. An area of interest is identified within the secondary model where statistical uncertainty is high. Possible causes of the statistical uncertainty are identified for the area of interest within the secondary model that are not present or accounted for in the initial reservoir model. A set of parameters for the area of interest are defined at that are based on the possible causes of statistical uncertainty. The area of interest is logged with at least one logging while drilling LWD tool. Sensitivities of the LWD tool response to the subset of parameters are evaluated by performing at least one tertiary model for a range of the subset of parameters. The most sensitive parameters from the subset of parameters and corresponding measurements are identified. One or more real-time LWD measurements to be used for proactive well placement along the planned trajectory are identified and are based on the most sensitive parameters. The initial reservoir model is updated while drilling with information from the tertiary model. The model update is based on physics-based modeling or on inversion and on running multiple models and selection of a best candidate model based on correlations between the tool measurements and modeled results for each geologic model. | 05-05-2011 |
20140216734 | CASING COLLAR LOCATION USING ELECROMAGNETIC WAVE PHASE SHIFT MEASUREMENT - A method for locating casing collars in a cased wellbore includes moving a well logging instrument coupled within a drill string through the cased wellbore. The instrument includes at least one electromagnetic transmitter and at least two spaced apart electromagnetic receivers. The at least one electromagnetic transmitter is energized with alternating current. A phase difference between electromagnetic signals detected by each of the at least two electromagnetic receivers is measured. A position of at least one casing collar is determined when a change in the measured phase shift is detected. | 08-07-2014 |

20090033111 | Lifting Device for a Vacuum Transfer System - An improved lifting device for a vacuum transfer system has an elastomeric gasket that provides a contact area which has a large cross-sectional area and is more stable and longer lasting than prior art devices. The elastomeric gasket is typically retained in a housing where vacuum can be supplied to the inside thereof. The Elastomeric gasket, providing a contact surface that is flexible yet strong and having a larger contact area than the lip of a typical suction cup, provides an improved seal between the pick-up device and the article to be moved and a longer period of time before the contact surface needs to be replaced. | 02-05-2009 |
