The light emitting element supplies light, and makes the light pass through the color wheel so as to generate a plurality of different color lights. These different color lights are used to form a color image. The color adjusting method includes the steps of providing a plurality of driving waveforms which is dynamically switched for driving the light emitting element; defining a major color light of the color image, which is selected from the different color lights; and switching to one of these driving waveforms when the major color light is generated by the light passing through the color wheel.
