20080319775BOWLING SYSTEM - A system for managing data associated with one or more bowling centers. The system includes a bowling center databases that collects information associated with patrons of an associated bowling center and a central database server that communicates with each of a plurality of bowling center databases. The system may be used to track expenditures made by patrons and issue rewards points to patrons, who may later redeem the rewards points for goods or services from the bowling centers or third parties. The system may be used to administer a loyalty program which tracks expenditures made by patrons and issues rewards points to patrons, who may later redeem the rewards points for goods or services from the bowling centers or third parties, or by bowling center owners for general customer management and marketing with services such as automated electronic mail.12-25-2008

20090098551METHODS AND PRODUCTS RELATED TO GENOTYPING AND DNA ANALYSIS - The invention encompasses methods and products related to genotyping. The method of genotyping of the invention is based on the use of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) to perform high throughput genome scans. The high throughput method can be performed by hybridizing SNP allele-specific oligonucleotides and a reduced complexity genome (RCG). The invention also relates to methods of preparing the SNP specific oligonucleotides and RCGs, methods of fingerprinting, determining allele frequency for a SNP, characterizing tumors, generating a genomic classification code for a genome, identifying previously unknown SNPs, and related compositions and kits.04-16-2009

20080218097Emulation Circuit - An emulation circuit is disclosed for connection to a low energy lamp energised by an AC supply and substituted for an incandescent lamp in a traffic signal installation. The circuit comprises means for sensing the magnitude of a supply voltage applied to energise the lamp connected to the terminals and means for sensing correct operation of the lamp. When the lamp is sensed to be operating correctly an auxiliary load intermittently to draw an additional current through the auxiliary load from the AC supply. The additional current is drawn only between preset phase angles of the cycles of the AC supply and the magnitude of the additional current drawn by the auxiliary load is varied in dependence upon the sensed magnitude of the supply voltage.09-11-2008
