20100014709 | Super-resolving moving vehicles in an unregistered set of video frames - A method is provided for accurately determining the registration for a moving vehicle over a number of frames so that the vehicle can be super-resolved. Instead of causing artifacts in a super-resolved image, the moving vehicle can be specifically registered and super-resolved individually. This method is very accurate, as it uses a mathematical model that captures motion with a minimal number of parameters and uses all available image information to solve for those parameters. Methods are provided that implement the vehicle registration algorithm and super-resolve moving vehicles using the resulting vehicle registration. One advantage of this system is that better images of moving vehicles can be created without requiring costly new aerial surveillance equipment. | 01-21-2010 |

20090060373 | METHODS AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM FOR DISPLAYING A RESTORED IMAGE - Methods and computer program readable medium for restoring an image. The methods include the steps of selecting one or more frames followed by determining the regions of interest so that blurring effect is determined in the regions of interest using various techniques. The regions of interest are then deblurred and one of the deblurred regions of interest is then blended with the frame resulting in a restored frame. | 03-05-2009 |
20090290753 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GAZE ESTIMATION - A gaze estimation method and system, the method including capturing a video sequence of images with an image capturing system, designating at least one landmark in a head portion of the captured video sequence, fitting a virtual model of the head portion to the actual head portion in the captured video sequence, and determining the gaze estimation. | 11-26-2009 |
20100037059 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORENSIC ANALYSIS OF MEDIA WORKS - A method and system for identifying a source of a copied work that in one embodiment includes obtaining at least some portions of a reference work, collecting at least some portions of the suspect work, matching the suspect work with the reference work, wherein the matching includes temporally aligning one or more frames of the reference work and the suspect work, spatially aligning frames of the reference work and the suspect work, and detecting forensic marks in the suspect work by spatiotemporal matching with the reference work. | 02-11-2010 |
20140380493 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORENSIC ANALYSIS OF MEDIA WORKS - A method and system for identifying a source of a copied work that in one embodiment includes obtaining at least some portions of a reference work, collecting at least some portions of the suspect work, matching the suspect work with the reference work, wherein the matching includes temporally aligning one or more frames of the reference work and the suspect work, spatially aligning frames of the reference work and the suspect work, and detecting forensic marks in the suspect work by spatiotemporal matching with the reference work. | 12-25-2014 |

20130046493 | SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DATA ANOMALY DETECTION - Systems and methods for performing data anomaly detection and/or removal are usable to accurately assess baseline power consumption. According to one embodiment of the invention, a system can be provided. The system can be operable to receive energy consumption data of a location; select, based at least in part on a collection period of the energy consumption data, an algorithm for detecting anomalies in the energy consumption data; perform the algorithm on the energy consumption data to detect the anomalies in the energy consumption data; and determine an energy consumption baseline for the location based at least in part on a result of the algorithm. | 02-21-2013 |

20090100293 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING TURBOMACHINERY FAILURE EVENTS EMPLOYING GENETIC ALGORITHM - A method for predicting or detecting an event in turbomachinery includes the steps of obtaining operational data from at least one machine and at least one peer machine. The operational data comprises a plurality of performance metrics. A genetic algorithm (GA) analyzes the operational data, and generates a plurality of clauses, which are used to characterize the operational data. The clauses are evaluated as being either “true” or “false”. A fitness function identifies a fitness value for each of the clauses. A perturbation is applied to selected clauses to create additional clauses, which are then added to the clauses group. The steps of applying a fitness function, selecting a plurality of clauses, and applying a perturbation can be repeated until a predetermined fitness value is reached. The selected clauses are then applied to the operational data from the machine to detect or predict a past, present or future event. | 04-16-2009 |

20090150212 | Method for identifying entities exhibiting patterns of interest related to financial health - A method of identifying a set of entities based on a pattern of interest is provided. The method includes identifying a reference entity and identifying one or more alert categories indicative of a pattern of interest in the reference entity over a time period of interest. The method further comprises determining a matching percentage of the pattern of interest exhibited by the reference entity, in one or more entities comprising the set of entities based on the one or more alert categories. The method further comprises identifying one or more of the entities comprising the set of entities that exhibit one or more of the patterns of interest exhibited by the reference entity, based on the matching percentage. | 06-11-2009 |
